Joaquin Phoenix is NOT in Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar Hoover Biopic

Joaquin Phoenix is NOT in Clint EastwoodSubmit Comment
It was previously rumored that Clint Eastwood wanted Joaquin Phoenix to star in his upcoming biopic of J Edgar Hoover, the controversial FBI director who founded the organization. Leonardo DiCaprio is said to play Hoover, while Phoenix will play Clyde Tolson, the associate director of the FBI and possibly Hoover's gay lover.

Eastwood now tells Reuters that Phoenix is not in the film. "No. I don't know where that came from," said the director. "Didn't he become a rapper?" Eastwood added that DiCaprio definitely wants the role of Hoover and they are in the process of signing contracts.

He continued: "[Hoover] was a very complex person. The homosexual aspect is just one of many. I would say that's the least of his problems. But he was also very clever, whether rightfully or wrongfully, he was very clever about keeping himself in a certain position in life, so it is an interesting study."

Who gives a sh*t about him anyways. I'm more concerned if he's gonna be in the new 50 cent album cuz he was supposed to be a rapper, right?

Joaquin Phoenix is NOT in Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar Hoover Biopic

... probably because Clint wasn't too sure how to fit in a facial defecation scene between Hoover and his lover.

You know, take away on p from that sentence, and he would've ask, "Didn't he become a raper?"

"The homosexual aspect is just one of many. I would say that's the least of his problems." --- I think Clint just said being gay is a problem.

Why is it everyone is still saying Joaquin is a white rapper!? He has been clean cut and back to being the great actor that he is for months now. He and Casey Affleck have said many times now that he did it so they could make a film in a completely new and unique style. If you don't believe me, just take a look at this.

Why hate on a guy for doing a good job? Just sayin..

Ok, sure he has been back "clean and decent looking", but that doesn't make him a respectable and decent human being in my eyes. He watched his brother River die a horrible, painful death on a dirty sidewalk outside The Viper Room. (Yes, Joaquin was there.) Then to go make fun of drugs, overdosing, and dying, etc. in some lousy made-up film. Well that is just disturbing. I don't care if he ever acts again - the man needs psychological help.
