Dominic Monaghan Won't Return for "The Hobbit"

Posted: September 29th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Dominic Monaghan WonSubmit Comment
Back in 2009, Dominic Monaghan revealed that he, Elija Wood, Sean Astin and Billy Boyd will be returning for "The Hobbit" prequels, despite the fact that their characters do not appear in JRR Tolkien's books. According to him, Peter Jackson wants to thank "Lord of the Rings" fans by bringing back some of the characters they know and love.

Many assumed that Monaghan will appear in the second prequel, which will bridge the two new films with the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. But now, the actor has revealed that he will not be involved with "The Hobbit." At this point, he's only hoping for a cameo.

"We've been saying that we'd love to come back as some sort of cameo, or turn up in the background," he told SFX magazine. "And Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens have said that would be a great thing for us to do, but I think they've got slightly more important things to deal with before they talk about the four Hobbits doing a cameo."

I imagine "cameo" being some kind of sick hobbit sexgame. What could possibly be more important than that?

And while Peter Jackson is living in a world of inconsistencies, any chance of a gay, naked hobbit orgy, followed by hobbit tossing, followed by hobbit tossing salad ?

I have a kid at Make A Wish asking. He wants to see it before he turns into a bendy straw due to his cerebal palsy.

Way to eff up the movie by including characters that weren't even in the novels just to draw in a bigger audience.

After he made out with Megan Fox it's just too degrading for him to play a hobbit. That's the real reason he won't be coming back. :P
