Oliver Stone Says Shia LaBeouf is No Brad Pitt

Oliver Stone Says Shia LaBeouf is No Brad PittSubmit Comment
Shia LaBeouf is the king of backhanded compliments. He recently insulted Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg by stating that both "Transformers 2" and "Indiana Jones 4" were terrible. But now, he's getting a taste of his own medicine courtesy of "Wall Street 2" director Oliver Stone.

"[Shia] isn't exactly the prettiest guy on this planet and he certainly isn't another Brad Pitt," said Stone. "But he is casting a spell, as soon as he stands in front of a camera."

The director added that LaBeouf is more like Tom Cruise, but not for the best reasons. "Shia very much reminds me of a young Tom Cruise back in 1989," Stone explained. "Both of them have this incredible amount of energy - there is a reason why both of them always seem to be running in their movies."

And we all know why Cruise runs in his movies.

I'm sorry, but whatever one says about Cruise and his crazy ways these days, you can NOT compare Shia to him! There is NO way he has an ounce of Cruise's charisma (crazy and all) or presence, a movie star he is not!

Stone did mention that Shia is a decent actor.

Is Shia licking a dust mop ? Must still be a little coke left on it.

That's okay, Oliver. You're not Oliver (circa 1980-1987). Keep making turd movies and we will all realize that the only conspiracy is why studioheads even allow you near cameras.

Looks like Shia is auditioning for Transformers III : The Licking Of The Model's
Crotch.

Shia doesn't have the chops now but he will develop into I believe a good actor. He just needs to keep his mouth shut and his opinions to himself. Although he is telling the truth.

Shia you do have perfect form, Bet old Mike Bay's jacking it to this pic.

So one guy makes awesome movies and has had a career for the record books and the other guy....well is Shia LaBitch. I don't see the comparison Oli.

f*ck Tom Cruise. He's not the worst actor in the world, but he may be the craziest.

I may have to add Oliver Stone to my list of smartest directors. The fact is it's true. For some reason people like this guy, but he has no talent with all the roles he gets. It's kind of sad how low people's standards are lately when they put support behind guys who basically play the same character. All of Shia's characters are basically the same "I am a stick-out, curly-haired outcast who gets ahead of the game by the end of the movie". I haven't seen Wall Street 2 yet, but it looks the same with this character. Oh and, on a side note, anyone else notice Shia LaBouf hasn't changed that frikkin' hairstyle of his since Transformers? He looks frikkin' ridiculous.

No sh*t, Sherlock. Thats like saying Tobey Magire is no Johnny Depp (I'm not saying Brad Pitt has talent).

@radid

He did marry Katie Holmes. I'm still awaiting with eager anticipation for the day Katie
takes a 9 mm and takes her and Kumen's (I think that's what they named that spawn
of Scientology) life, leaving Tom as the prime suspect when they find his fingerprints on the handle.

Sure it's receding. His scalp follicles can get oxygenated sticking his head up so many Director's ass's.
