Mark Ruffalo is Bruce Banner and The Hulk in "The Avengers"Submit Comment
In "The Hulk" and "The Incredible Hulk" movies, stars Eric Bana and Edward Norton played Bruce Banner but had no participation in the making of the Hulk character.

In "The Avengers," Mark Ruffalo revealed that he'll play both Banner and the Hulk. "I'm really excited. No one's ever played the Hulk exactly, they've always done CGI," he told NY magazine. "They're going to do the 'Avatar' stop-action, stop-motion capture. So I'll actually play the Hulk. That'll be fun."

Ruffalo added that he's just as excited about play Banner. "I really love the first TV version of it, the Bill Bixby one," he explained. "I'm gonna shoot for that a little bit. He was an everyman in it. He's always on the run and trying to find love. It's really a sympathetic character, before he turns into the Hulk and f*cks everything up."

The actor also confirmed that "The Avengers" will be in 3D.

Got some for you Ruffalo. Norton did play as the hulk in TIH. mainly the fighting scene at the end. I saw it in the behind the scenes featurette. He was in a green suit as well as whoever portrayed Abomination(forgot the name)

Stop-Motion eh? I give it a go, Mark Ruffalo is a very good and underused actor so don't relly mind him being "The Hulk"

He's gonna bitch the first time they cover him in that forest green makeup from head to toe.

@ telur

His pants never break because they are actually Brooke Shields' Calvin Kleins and quite miraculously, he can fit in them.

Only they come up to his stomach.

Nah, their sweatpants.

Tim Roth was Abomination. I really like that actor.

I believe we'll see a good performance from Mark Ruffalo. Can't wait to see.
