Paramount Pictures Says "Transformers 3" Accident is Not Their Fault

Paramount Pictures Says "Transformers 3" Accident is Not Their FaultSubmit Comment
We recently reported that an extra was hurt on the Chicago set of "Transformers 3." Both witnesses and police are reporting that a stunt consisting of one car (with a woman inside) being pulled by a second vehicle using a steel cable went wrong when the cable snapped, whipped around and sliced through the first car, ending up cutting the woman's head.

Deadline has now received a statement from Paramount Pictures that the woman and her car were not involved in the stunt and that a "freak accident caused her injury." The studio says that extra and her car were more than 500 feet from the stunt and that the injury was a result of being struck by a flying metal object that had nothing to do with the towing cable.

Paramount couldn't explain why their version of events is so different from what the local police and countless eye-witnesses are reporting.

The woman, meanwhile, is now stable but is still unconscious.

You gotta be kidding me. That's a very Lame attempt to avoid the lawsuit. Those Paramount execs are d*ckhead.

Reports suggest that James Cameron thought the accident would have looked far better in 3D.

"But..but..but...but....what about the 'Bayhem' and 'eating the action'?", Michael said to Kenny Bates through vodka soaked tears.

Jesus Christ, Bay! I thought you said no more freeway sh*t! Can't you just do some studio and set related sh*t now? That is, if this doesn't end your career of destruction?

Not what Bay had in mind when the fortune teller told him about the chick who was gonna give him a little head if he make T3.

Aren't sets like that supposed to be closed to avoid accidents like that?

let's see who to trust

the thousands on set and reporters who witnessed the incident?
Or the suits at Paramount who are currently whacking off to millions in Westlake....

so here's what happened; paramount realized the lady was in a coma before tehy started telling stories that she couldn't refute... is paramount worse than fox?
gobolog writes:

Maybe Michael Bay thought Megan Fox was in the car, believing she was about to reveal more details about the "car wash" sessions he deliberately screwed up the stunt to silence her once and for all.

...Maybe.

So...

Even IF it WASN'T the cable snapping that caused her injury (despite ALL the witnesses saying it was), and it WAS metal flying over 500 ft. to have struck this woman.

The REAL question would be: HOW f*ckING DANGEROUS IS THIS SET ANYWAY?!?!?!

Either way Paramount, people on YOUR f*ck SET are getting HURT! Who the f*ck cares as to the where's and how's you f*ckING DOUCHE BAGS!!!

'Lame Ass Covering 101' - it's what's new at Paramount.
Ranger writes:
on September 6th, 2010 at 6:59:47 PM

So this injured girl was 500 ft. away from all the action and was struck by metal NOT involved in T3? Just random metal flying around all over the place... that SAME time you were filming this stunt sequence Paramount?!

Who the f*ck does your thinking for you... Corky Thatcher?!?!
vwkombi writes:
on September 6th, 2010 at 7:32:45 PM

Paramount, if you were making a GOOD movie and not Transformers 3, then this never would've happened.

@ Rocketman

Beat me to the 3D joke!
Max Rockatansky Junior writes:
on September 6th, 2010 at 11:51:32 PM

Paramount, let's not get A HEAD of ourselves ... it certainly is not the decision of the HEAD of your movie corportation that is pulling a bone-HEADED move like this is it ? Taking responsibility would obviously be the right thing to do, but you are rather HEADstrong about being a horse's ass, that of which you should pull your HEAD out of.

I'm just sayin'.
Max Rockatansky Junior writes:
