Photos: Movie Theater Playing "The Last Exorcism" Burns DownSubmit Comment
An eight-story historic drive-in movie theater in Oklahoma caught fire on Saturday, sending flames roaring into the sky and devastating the structure. Within 10 minutes, witnesses said, the iconic screens had collapsed into a flaming heap of debris.

Judging by the many photos of the fire, the theater was playing "The Last Exorcism" when the blaze erupted. So did something demonic have to do with this? The local fire department is not commenting. The theater was also playing "Predators," but that clearly has nothing to do with this.

Check out some of photos of the fire below and make up your own mind if something supernatural had a hand in causing the blaze.

"The theater was also playing "Predators," but that clearly has nothing to do with this."

And how do we know that? It could have been them.....

This movie's getting GREAT publicity. Seriously, I'm almost tempted to pay money and watch it just for the engaging hype. This coupled with the chatroulette prank is just epic.

i think the owners were so embarrased of how horrible that f*cking movie was they burned it down!.

Wow... I live in Tulsa which is where this happened and this had nothing to do with it whatsoever. Obviously..? 2 guys were caught going in it during the day and running out right after the fire started. f*ckin' people are so stupid in the head.

i'm a believer in this so i think that it was something demonic that is connected to the movie that burned it down.

Its just a coincidence that The Last Exorcism was playing there when it burned down. There are other possibilities like arson. Why do people automatically jump to religion when something goes wrong?

Good thing "2012" wasn't playing or we'd all be f*cked

If somebody actually believed this, they need to be put into a theatre and set on fire.

no the fire has nothing to do with a movie that was made in HOLLYWOOD

@trailertrash It wasn't insurance problems. That theater gets A LOT of buisness here in Tulsa. It was arson.
billofill writes:
on September 5th, 2010 at 3:28:21 PM

that better not of been the drive in from the outsiders or else,............
billofill writes:

Did a quick search and YES it's the drive in from the Outsiders. BOOOOOOOOOOO TO THE RUINATION OF 80's Popculture.
bkg4991 writes:

The drive in was called the admrial twin drive in its the same one from the outsiders movie and it burning down has NOTHING to do with satan..me and ian_918 live in tulsa an it was, like ian said, the two guys seen running out of the parking lot who set it on fire, or it was electrical..an no they didn't set it on fire to get insurance money they didnt have fire insurance. Anyone who can literally sit there an say its the work of the devil should be shot in the face for being so f*cking retarded.
trailertrash writes:

ian_918 -

What ever it was, it definitely wasn't supernatural (lol), someone must of been pissed about something...
That_Genius writes:
on September 5th, 2010 at 9:49:43 PM

Yes its something supernatural that's why all the other thousands of movie theaters all burned down too. Oh no wait...
Rodan writes:
on September 6th, 2010 at 1:10:52 AM

So basically, for every 50 exorcism movies, a theater burns down. Sounds scary.
HAL9000 writes:

This is the first time I've been disappointed with Worst Previews' reporting as this is NOT newsworthy at all.

"Judging by the many photos of the fire, the theater was playing "The Last Exorcism" when the blaze erupted. So did something demonic have to do with this? The local fire department is not commenting."

They might not be commenting because demonism is usually last on the list of reasons why things catch fire. Demons do not exist.

"The theater was also playing "Predators," but that clearly has nothing to do with this"

What?? How do you even consider that to be information?? I understand the source is 'Tulsa World', but common.
