One of the many movies we're hoping to catch at the Toronto Film Festival is Ryan Reynolds' "Buried" thriller, which has now released a new international trailer. Check it out below.
Plot: Paul Conroy (Reynolds) is not ready to die. But when he wakes up 6 feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the truck driver and family man instantly becomes a hellish struggle for survival. Buried with only a cell phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited. Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery, and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against timeó fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only 90 minutes to be rescued before his worst nightmare comes true.
The new film is directed by Rodrigo Cortes from a script by Chris Sparling and is expected to hit theaters on September 24th in limited released. It will then expand on October 8th.
The only thing Burt can reactivate these days needs Viagra and a shot of whiskey.

@ Skippy Spartan - Yup, totally agree with you.
Floating adrift in the deep ocean and not knowing what is lurking beneath you, just waiting to get tagged by some kind of f*cking sea creature, would be the absolute worst way to go! Although, having said that, the only thing that would be worse than floating in the deep ocean is to actually see a fin poke through water on the horizon. Then you know you're totally f*cked.
But yeah, getting buried alive would suck too. This movie is going to cause major anxiety.

Which, coincidentally, was the same night I lost my first kidney.
I really want this to turn out good, this will be huge for Reynolds' career if it is, movies focusing on one person's performance can easily turn out sh*tty (I Am Legend). It takes a real pro like Sam Rockwell (Moon) or Tom Hanks (Cast Away) to successfully pull that off. Hopefully Reynolds has the skill
