So this is a reboot ? Does that mean Emelio's character comes back from the dead and demand severance pay from Ethan for getting f*cked up in the elevator shaft ?
" The site added that Cruise and producer JJ Abrams envision the new installment as a reboot of the franchise will eventually change the title of the movie from "Mission: Impossible 4" to something that reflects that. Future installments will likely focus more on Renner's character. "
Sloppy Seconds comes to mind.

i am not the biggest fun of cruise but i believe that mission imposible is his franchise.jeremy renner should be the one with the supporting role not cruise.ethan hunt doesnt deserve to die just to pass the torch to another guy.as for changig the title thats just stupid.

Did not realize JJ Abrams had a hand in this. I now have faith in this project, plus Renner casted, and the possibility Cruise will die on screen, sign me up. JJ can do reboots like Nolan, all day long, speaking of which really anxious to see what Nolan does with Superman.

'Transformers 3' -- Extra Injured in Botched Stunt
A 24-year-old female extra was "seriously injured" on the Indiana set of "Transformers 3" yesterday after a car stunt went terribly wrong.
Officials say the accident happened during a driving scene ... when an object went through the windshield of a car, hitting the driver.
An extra on the set described the accident to WLS-TV ... saying, "The vehicle was being towed by another vehicle ... the cable between the two vehicles broke. It whipped around and sliced through the woman's car and sliced through her skull, apparently. "
Cops have confirmed ... "The equipment pertaining to the stunt was impounded by the Indiana State Police."
The victim was airlifted to a local hospital. We're told she's currently in critical condition.
Ranger on the scene added: 'I'm glad as f*ck it's her skull and not her tits! She's got a great pair of fun-bags!'

1 and 3 were so boss, Woo's style was so wrong for 2. I wish Abrams was directing though, I am a huge fan of his directing style. Also so glad to see Rhames and Pegg still in the cast, Pegg was hilarious in 3. And it seems like a sweet deal for Renner cuz this sh*t will definitely make bank and Renner gets to inherit a pretty solid action franchise, should work perfectly for him
