First Look: David Tennant as Peter Vincent in "Fright Night" RemakeSubmit Comment
Today we have the first photo of David Tennant ("Doctor Who") as magician Peter Vincent in the upcoming "Fright Night" remake. Apparently Vincent will be a Las Vegas magician performing at the Hard Rock hotel. Check out the photo below.

In the movie, Charlie (Anton Yelchin) is a teen who is convinced that his new neighbor is a vampire, though no one believes him. Colin Farrell will play the vampire, named Jerry, who on the surface appears to be a cool guy but is really preying on the neighborhood.

Tennant's Peter Vincent character claims to be a vampire expert, but when Charlie turns to him for assistance, he's less than helpful. "Fright Night" is set to hit theaters on October 7th, 2011.

David Tennant is awsome, hopefully he uses his Scottish accent or his Doctor Who English accent rather than American

Despite an awesome cast, why is Hollywood still f*cking with classics? This film will be sh*thouse.

I've actually been pretty intrigued by this remake ever since they started announcing the cast. I'm not a fan of most of Colin Farrell's work but for some reason I think he's the perfect fit for this vampire. I mean he pretty much is the character in real life, cool and charming until the sun goes down, then he turns into a womanizing hideous beast. Then there's McLovin, who shines in everything he's in. I just started watching a few Dr. Who episodes here and there and have been very impressed with the show and its star. Although he's a little young for the part, I'm excited to see what DT can do with such a classic character like Peter Vincent. All in all, this is a great beginning to a film I wouldn't mind seeing get a proper face lift. All they need now are some great old school creature effects, a hard R rating, and a badass tranformation scene to round out a decent film. Let's hope they keep up the good work.
