Michael Douglas has a lot to deal with. He has an idiot son and his ex-wife wants half of his "Wall Street 2" salary, despite being divorced for ten years. But his biggest problem right now is stage four throat cancer.
Douglas appeared on "Late Show with David Letterman" to talk about his medical condition. He revealed that stage four is the most advanced stage and that he has completed the first of eight weeks of chemotherapy, which makes it difficult to eat and thus causes weight-loss.
The good news is that doctors believe Douglas has an 80% chance of beating this thing. So, we all wish him luck. Check out the video of his "Late Show" visit below.
I can't wait for ol' Mike to start talkin' though a digital voicebox.
It'll make Catherine Zeta-Jones cream every time, " Talk like Stephen Hawking to me, baby. "

Yeah, Wallstreet was amazing. But Wallstreet2 sounds like they've neutered the mighty Gekko.

As awesome as Black Rain was, it can never be repeated as a blasphemous Black Rain 2 because:
-Can't do it without Garcia/Charlie who unfortunately died on screen. As brutal and tragic as it was to watch his decapitation by samuri blade, it did serve to motivate and fuel Douglas/Nick to kick Satos ass;
-One of Tony Scott's greatest films which hasn't really dated. If it ain't broke, then don't fix it;
-Douglas would be hard pressed to do physical action. Let's not make the man jump through hoops. And I wouldn't want to see him star in a sequel as a mentor to some rookie ass wipe actor who could never fulfill the character that Douglas brought to Black Rain (one of my all time favs). Reminds me of the same formula for Wall Street 2 with Gecko returning to groom Shia Leboeuf - why desecrate these legendary movies with lesser sequels?
