Thomas Jane to Appear in "The Walking Dead" Zombie SeriesSubmit Comment
NBC Washington caught up with Thomas Jane (The Punisher), who revealed that he has been speaking to director Frank Darabont about playing a role in AMC's "The Walking Dead." Darabont and Jane recently worked together on "The Mist."

"That show is going to be a a big f*cking hit," Jane said about "The Walking Dead." "I've seen it and it is fantastic. I'm going to come on and do a guest thing. Maybe play a bad guy."

Jane explained that he was originally supposed to star in the series when it was destined to be on HBO. He ended up going with "Hung" and "The Walking Dead" went to AMC.

He said he'll insist on being a living human in the guest role. "I'm not going to be a zombie. That's too much make up."

Love The Mist , Jane should be the Good guy he always plays a pretty descent hero IMO.

And i see they have signed on for a second season before this has even aired which is good news all round ....

Agreed
I always thought he'd make a good Aquaman, just because of Deep Blue Sea
Too old now

yep trailer "The Mist" was/is a great movie very underated...ending was f*cked up but brilliant.

Will check this series out..sounds good and Jane is a very underated actor.

I always thought Jane was awesome in The Punisher, very underated in my opinion.

@ CommZod: I've been saying that exact same thing for years.

Wow, I can't believe the irony here. The actor who I always believed should play the main character in this show (due to his uncanny likeness to the illustration - seriously, the Rick Grimes drawings look like a straight-up caricature of Jane) is gonna make a guest-spot instead. Oh, well, I guess some minor type of appearance is better than none.

Why not make this zombie movie: 'The Dancing Dead!' - cast Michael Jackson... get some string... hire some puppeteers (maybe the same greedy yes people that tanked his career)... put a Thriller spin on this.

I'd watch... IN COMPLETE HORROR!!!!

Funny sh*t too as I thought Jane would have been perfect for this. Hung is aight, nothing to amazing but this on HBO would have been WOW. Then again look what happened to Rome, Deadwood and Carnivàle, so HBO would have been sketchy for this series.

Thomas Jane's cameo in Scott Pilgrim was pretty f*cking epic... or am I the only one who liked it? lol
