"X-Men Origins: Magneto" Absorbed Into "X-Men: First Class"

"X-Men Origins: Magneto" Absorbed Into "X-Men: First Class"Submit Comment
CraveOnline caught up with producer Lauren Shuler Donner to find out if we'll ever see "X-Men Origins: Magneto," which has been in the works ever since it was announced with "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" back in 2006.

"No. You know, there's internal discussions but probably not," she replied. "It kind of got incorporated into [X-Men: First Class], a lot of it." Donner added that parts of David Goyer's "Magneto" script will appear in "First Class."

"First Class" will show Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr discovering their powers before they became Professor X and Magneto. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-MEN.

Stuffing too much stuff into one movie. When will Hollywood ever learn?

id rather this than watching a movie about magneto growing old. Magneto would have been as exciting as watching lohan porno

Good move, there's no way a Magneto movie would work on it's own.

Movie is going to suck anyway. One comic book movie that should be left to make is the next Batman installment from Nolan, all rest should be shelved for 5 years, give us some breathing room this saturation of sh*t attempts. (Superman Returns, either Fantastic 4 movie, the last Spiderman, Daredevil, the list can go on and on)

Of course cause that Magneto movie probably sucks on its own... for shame.

Sounds good. This movie is less about the original X-Men and more about how the school was formed. I like it. It's a story that not many are familiar with, and it could be really trippy to see inside young Xavier's head.

I would like to be absorbed to Megan Fox's anus...

what ever, i really beleive that director matthew vaughn will do a great job, and i think this will be the best x-men film since the first one in 2000. i cant wait personally

i wish they would reboot x-men with the original cast and follow the comics this time around...all this stuff packed into one movie sounds a lot like a past mistake being made again...and by past mistake, i mean all the stuff that was packed into the first 3 x-men films...those 3 films should have been 3 hours long each so that each character would have their part fitting into the story and be told right, even in a reasistic way....it could have been done...but studios thought different at the time and still do apparantly...but they'll keep believing their own way until hopefully and eventually it goes back to Marvel and gets made right for a change

sounds to me like thats what they're doing here, streamlining the previous films into something that more closely matches the comics.
The rights won't revert back to Marvel until 2028, so you'll be waiting quite a while before FOX gives it up.

I agree. It stinks we'll miss the classic John Byrne shot of Wolverine in the sewers (http://www.typingmonkeys.com/Images/wolverine-my-turn-500.jpg), the real Dark Phoenix saga, etc.

The next Wolverine movie has to redeem the steaming pop pile that was "Origins". Methinks it was a turd bomber.

It's not First Class but X-Men: Professor X vs Magneto
Super Dick-Tits writes:

I didnt know the Professor and Magneto were spicey-hot gay lovers. Thats cool, I mean its not my bag, but I can totally picture a young, buff magneto d*ck-riding the professor, while staring deep, so deep... into the Professor's bald head, at his own reflection.

Do you think that Professor X would jerk it if he could?
