Michael Douglas is Diagnosed with Cancer

Posted: August 17th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Michael Douglas is Diagnosed with CancerSubmit Comment
Michael Douglas is being treated for a tumor in his throat but is expected to make a full recovery, according to his doctors. "I am very optimistic," Douglas said in a statement.

The 65-year-old star has to undergo eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. His spokesman said Douglas is expected to be well enough to promote the upcoming "Wall Street" movie, which he is also producing.

Douglas has also completed an acting assignment in the movie "Haywire" and is does not currently have any other acting jobs in the near future.

@VODSON: "Cancer, only dangerous to the low/middle class."

Swayze was poisoned by the govt due to him mastering Woo Shin Do kunfu while he was filming Roadhouse, it was extremely slow acting. RIP Dalton.

Ranger writes:

He's truly one of the greats! He didn't ride his dad's coat tails (like Michael's useless son is doing), instead he went out and made a career of his own.

Speedy recovery MD!

trailertrash writes:

Got to agree Ranger

He had a nice easy job on the Streets Of San Francisco in 1975.

But he took a chance and got the rights to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest from his dad and got that movie made off his own back.

That picture won the top 5 awards that year and in my opinion one of the best films to ever win the best picture oscar.

When he left the show he made a successful transfer to the big screen which was a tough job to do back then.

Falling Down
Star Chamber
Romancing the stone
wall Street
Basic Instinct
War of the roses
The game
Black Rain
Fatal Attraction

All good movies , all very different characters but he could do that.

And i still say he should be in Expendables 2 as well....

Ranger writes:
on August 17th, 2010 at 7:12:01 PM

I hope he's in The Expendables sequel.

MD also produced Starman. A fav. of mine.
trailertrash writes:
on August 17th, 2010 at 7:38:02 PM

The Starman good movie also. (john Carpenter should be making more movies BTW)

I never knew they made a TV show Starman (produced by MD ) as well, Did you ever see that , was it any good ?
Ranger writes:

It was ok... at the beginning (like Airwolf, or any other)... but I think it got beating a dead Lohan after a while.

"Knock Knock.."

"Who's there?"

"Hey Michael, it's Satan. Remember when you came to me saying that you thought Catherine Zeta-Jones was hot and you didn't think there was anyway you could get her?"

"uhh.....yeah..." (deadbolts door..)

"Heh, well, I'm here to collect. Nice doing business with ya. I'd tell your dad hi for you, but how 'bout you do it yourself in a few...."
