Release Dates for Twilight 5, Monsters Inc 2, Jack and Jill

Release Dates for Twilight 5, Monsters Inc 2, Jack and JillSubmit Comment
Summit Entertainment recently revealed that second part of "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," which is the fifth installment in the franchise, will be released on November 16th, 2012. This created some unwanted competition, causing other studio to move their films.

Disney/Pixar has pushed up "Monsters, Inc. 2" from November 16th, 2012 to November 2nd, 2012. To avoid having two animated projects on November 2nd, DreamWorks pushed back Leonardo DiCaprio's "The Guardians" to November 21st, 2012.

Disney also announced that the 3D version of "Beauty and the Beast" and Pixar's "Newt" have been removed from the studio's release calendar. This confirms the rumor that "News" has been cancelled.

Meanwhile, Columbia Pictures has set a November 11th, 2011 release for the Adam Sandler comedy Jack and Jill, in which the actor will play both characters.

f*ck me Twatlight!!!!! How can a peice of sh*t like that have so much power at the BO??

I understand the reasoning for the Monsters Inc being moved for not wanting two animation movies at the same time or close to the same time.

Will check out Monsters Inc first one was really good...but staying away from Newt it does'nt look that funny to me.

Folks, the Twilight movies will be over soon enough. There weren't as many books as in the Potter series so the end of this is near.

On the other hand, someone will just create another tween sensation and we will be right back to where we started.

Disney/Pixar is smart...Moving their animated movie up to warrant competition to DreamWorks knowing they'll top out causing DW to fall back and absorb the trinkle of audience from MI2's guaranteed box office boner.
