Patrick Stewart's Terrible "Sinbad" Trailer

Hollywood has been trying to make a new Sinbad movie for a while, with both Rob Cohen (Fast and the Furious) and Adam Shankman (Hairspray) attempting to bring the character to the big screen.

But where they failed, Giant Flick Films succeeded by making an extremely low-budget film called "Sinbad: The Fifth Voyage," starring Patrick Stewart (X-Men) and a bunch of terrible stop-motion creatures. And in preparation of its January 1st, 2011 release date (straight-to-DVD?), the movie has unveiled an official trailer. Check it out below.

Plot: When the Sultan's first born is taken by an evil sorcerer, Sinbad (Shahin Sean Solimon) is tasked with traveling to a desert of magic and creatures to save her.

Now we know what M.C Hammer did with all his old pants (trousers)

Are things that bad for Patrick now, he has to make movies like this...

Can't believe people think this is a real film. Biggest gotcha of the year. Next thing ya know, Stallone is still allowed to direct a film

Yeah, they flicked something at us.

It was either a giant booger or the middle finger.

Or maybe it was feces.

Um, as far as I can tell, the guy in the trailer is not Patrick Stewart. At least, not THE Patrick Stewart. The Patrick Stewart we all know is 70 years old and would never waste his time with this garbage.
BigUnit writes:

so where the hell is patrick?
murphyslaw93 writes:

That sounded like Patrick's voice, but that definitely wasnt Patrick the actor. This is some bullsh*t, gotta be a joke, and if that is Stewart's voice he's doing it for sh*ts and giggles, otherwise its a good impersonator

Stewart did the voiceover for this, its being told as memory, kinda like The Young Indiana Jones. He recorded it before the film was filmed.
KallousTom writes:

@angelus5621
At least that way he can deny knowing what it was for. "What do you mean it wasn't for the Rob Cohen film of the same name!?"

even though i most likely won't be watching this when it comes out, but i'd much rather see "terrible stop-motion creatures" than terrible CGI creatures. at least stop motion takes a bit of creativity and hard work. imagine how bad this movie would look if it were made by the asylum? it seems like these guys are maybe trying to go for something more akin to 'jason and the argonauts', which, even with it's terrible stop motion, is a great movie.

i don't think the trailer was even that bad... certainly not 'terrible.' true, the fonts left a little something to be desired, but the editing and the voice over seemed to be quite good for a low-budget movie. i think WP needs to get off it's high horse and lighten up. it's not meant to be 'spartacus', it's a f*cking teaser trailer.

How did the get hold of the movie i shot in my back yard.
angelus5621 writes:

lol yeah, He'll probably Alan Smithee it if possible... but I dont think Voice overs can apply that..
Dre-EL writes:

maybe patrick is only the narrator.
DaveThePhotoGuy writes:

Giant Flick Films - roughly translated means
Gag sh*t f*cks

wow that was crap even by Sharktopuss,MeagPiranha and the like...is the main thing for these movies is to get people who can't act?

@shadowsfall
@BigUnit
@murphyslaw93

Are you guys 12? That's Patrick Stewart as the narrator. Are you dense?

Also, the voice over is sh*t, but I like the stop-motion characters. A nice touch, rather than more f*cking CGI.
