"Titanic 2" Trailer is Here!Submit Comment
Back in May we found out that The Asylum, the studio behind "Transmorphers," "Snakes on a Train" and "2012 Doomsday" was developing "Titanic 2." And today we have the trailer for the ridiculous movie. Check it out below.

Plot: On the 100th anniversary of the original voyage, a modern luxury liner christened "Titanic 2," follows the path of its namesake. But when a tsunami hurls an ice berg into the new ship’s path, the passengers and crew must fight to avoid a similar fate.

The new movie stars Brooke Burns ("Baywatch") and Bruce Davison (X-Men). It is scheduled to hit stores on August 24th.

Considering what happened to the first Titanic, I don't think I'd get on another one similarly named (that '2' doesn't fool me!).

OK... I'm pretty familiar with the force(s) of a tsunami. And I'm pretty f*cking sure one can't 'hurl an ice berg' anywhere.

Call this movie 'Hurl' and supply airsick bags, because it looks so vomitious (eye no, eye jst enviented tht wrd!).

@tt - we don't need a movie to have Shannon Price face down in the ocean now... do we?
trailertrash writes:

No we dont ranger.

But it would be nice to catch it on film, the inevitable out come for that murderous giant bitch !!

Lets step back for a minute here and really look at this. And lets forget how completely tasteless and borderline offensive this movie is and realize that this movie has become a blatant metaphor for the direction Holly Wood is going in. As long as movies like this are made, and keep getting made, Holly Wood itself will end up following suit and quickly sink into an abyss, and then will truly give rise to it's "non-compitiion", independent film. This movie, although made by a B-Movie studio, still clearly reflects what is being peddled to movie goers, and at this point I wouldn't be surprised to see Casablanca 2 or Citizen Kane Returns.

Let me guess ... mutant Iceberg ... half Iceberg/half Greenland ...

couldn't be any worse than the remaking of Poseidon ... as long as Josh Lucas needs the work. Oh, and don't forget Debbie Gibson too.

She can play Vicki Stubing, the daughter of Capt. Stubing

Nope.

The real spoiler ? They dig up Shelly Winter's corpse ... do some hoodoo voodoo by a Jamacian witchdoctor played by ... who else ? Samuel Jackson ... and strap her to the misenmast, so she can fight off the iceberg in 'Zombie Rage' ...

While they hire Jeff Speakman off the street, put him in a styrofoam 'iceberg' costume and have him high kick Shelley into submission ...

as you can tell, Asylum has an extensive budget.

*** and Jeff needed the work.

No Ranger you got it wrong, they were smart enough to put in a twist ending, they fix the ship and it floats away.

Max Rockatansky Junior writes:

I can see it at the local Blockbuster (provided there are any left) now ...

" Honey all they have is Titantic 2, Inception and The Seven Samurai ... what do you want ... "

" I don't care, D***** ... get whatever you want. "

" Titanic 2 it is! "

They get up to the counter. The girl rings it up and looks at him.

" You stay home alot, don't you, " she asks.

Seriously though this looks a classic...can't wait to check it out...and anyone dumb enough to get on a boat called Titanic 2 which then sails the same way as the original don't deserve to be rescued.

What kind of f*cking idiot would get on a ship named Titanic 2. That name basically tells u to not get on the f*cking ship. AND WHY WOULD THEY TAKE THE SAME f*ckING ROUTE AS THE FIRST SHIP. History wouldnt repeat itself if these idiots would just think. Anyway, looks terrible and its gonna suck. End of story.
Attos writes:

I'm almost not sure how I feel about this movie.
Obviously it looks terrible, we can all see that.
But... it just looks TOO terrible.
They had to have known what a terrible idea this was, and then they made it anyway.

So I'm stuck trying to decide if this is one of the most sad things I've ever seen, or if it's almost worth watching just once.

At least I won't be disappointed..
I already know it's going to be abysmal.

It would almost feel okay to watch a terrible movie that is openly terrible.
Definitely better than it feels to watch a terrible movie under the guise of being a good movie. That's just plain betrayal.

Somehow I got talking into seeing Salt...
Which is by far one of the worst movies I've seen in my life.
This movie would almost seem nice compared to that.
