Wachowskis' Sci-Fi Iraq War Film is Called "CN9"Posted: July 14th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

Back in May, we learned that the Wachowskis (The Matrix, Speed Racer) are working on new sci-fi war movie that focuses on a "hard R" relationship between a US solider and Iraqi. It takes place in the near future and spans back over years that include the current war in Iraq.
Now comes word from Production Weekly that the new film is called "CN9" and that the helmers are already in the casting process. No word on when filming will begin, but test shots have already been done and a script has been completed.
After performing a quick search, "CN9" may be referring to the 9th Cranial Nerve, which is a glossopharyngeal nerve related to the tongue and the pharynx. What that has to do with the movie is anyone's guess.
