Wachowskis' Sci-Fi Iraq War Film is Called "CN9"

Back in May, we learned that the Wachowskis (The Matrix, Speed Racer) are working on new sci-fi war movie that focuses on a "hard R" relationship between a US solider and Iraqi. It takes place in the near future and spans back over years that include the current war in Iraq.

Now comes word from Production Weekly that the new film is called "CN9" and that the helmers are already in the casting process. No word on when filming will begin, but test shots have already been done and a script has been completed.

After performing a quick search, "CN9" may be referring to the 9th Cranial Nerve, which is a glossopharyngeal nerve related to the tongue and the pharynx. What that has to do with the movie is anyone's guess.

Now that one of the brothers is a female, shouldn't they be called the Wachowskis siblings?
SpookyCupcakes writes:

or the Wachowski brothers. Since, you know, just because you cut your d*ck off and put implants in your chest doesn't make you a chick.

All the Wachowskis' need is a couple of pruning shears from ACE Hardware and they can become women in seconds.

its about time we ignored these 2 freaks. they've got one movie, the Matrix, and they f*cked up the sequels to that which completely compromised the greatness of the original. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the war version of brokeback mountain, with more leather.

lol... right on both counts.

So one got a sex change so each of them would have someone that would f*ck them?

i guess "Bound" foreshadowed their career more than "The Matrix"
