well, community got snubbed. it's a much better show than faggoty glee.

Where the hell is Sons of Anarchy? It's one great show.

I would LOVE to nominate the following :

Outstanding Drama:
Breaking Farts, the Howard Stern Life
Dexter's Labratory and Knifeswallowing
The Good Wife/Bad Dominatrix
Lost in Emotion : Bad 80s Songs
Mad Mel or How I f*cked Over Hollywood, the Jewish Bastards and N*ggers
True Bloods and Crips, Life with Snoop Dogg

I invented Glee. What i did was record some songs while scratching chalk on a black board. Then i filmed a pile of cow sh*t, put it all together and BAM! Glee was born.

Also Jim Parsons has to win.

Pysch, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, White Collar and Lie to Me all didn't get nominated ?

Who's the nominating committee ? 12 year old Japanese exchange students still into anime, Hello Kitty and " Spidey Manga " ?

@Dr Strangelove

Hope you're being sarcastic about those USA shows not being nominated. Especially over Lost, Breaking Bad, Dexter, and Mad Men.

The most noticeable snub here is Parks and Rec as a whole. Best comedy on TV this year, definitely better than this weak ass season of The Office, and Nick Offerman was outstanding in every episode. Can't believe Jon Cryer got nominated but he didn't, it's an insult to comedy.

And Nurse Jackie for Outstanding Comedy? Really? Like the Emmy voters just said hey let's nominate that show with the actress we love to recognize.

Pleasant Surprises:
Matthew Fox for Lost
Friday Night Lights acting nods
Amy Pohler for Parks and Rec
Family Guy not even getting a nod for Animated Program
Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men being shut out of the Outstanding Comedy series category

Lame ass nods/non nods:
Matthew Morrison for Glee. Glee's overrated as it is, but this guy is more of a singer than a comedic actor, give the nomination to Adam Scott for Party Down.
No Sons of Anarchy love
No Party Down love
The Office for anything this year.
The Good Wife and True Blood over SofA, Friday Night Lights, and/or Treme. Take your pick.

Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman on "Breaking Bad" should have gotten a nomination.
velocityknown writes:

@Osiris

Aaron Paul did get nominated, in fact he's somewhat favored to win this year. Though it's hard to tell with the two previous Lost winners in the same category.

Where in the name of Lindsay Lohan's c*m-stained c*nt is Kiefer Sutherland's nomination?!?!?!?!?! What the hell, man?!

Oh well, at least Elizabeth Mitchell's boobs got nominated.

I mean Elizabeth Mitchell.

And her boobs.

Which are lovely.
ElizabethMitchellsBoobs writes:
on July 8th, 2010 at 9:05:32 PM

Also pissed they left out Cherry Jones and Mary Lynn-Rajskub who did a phenomenal job in 24's final season!

They also left out Elizabeth Mitchell for a Best Boobs nomination, John Lithgow for a Most Shocking Use of the Word "c*nt" nomination, and Kevin Durand for a Best Maker of Eggs nomination.

WHAT. BULL. sh*t.
ElizabethMitchellsBoobs writes:

Double Rainbow guy also deserves a nomination.
SACdaddy writes:

BOOOO!!! Keifer doesn't get a nod for the last (and one of the best) season of 24? Wonder if the murderous killing spree he went on had anything to do with it. Oh well, bring on th 24 movie :)

@Boobs: Agreed, Park and Rec is a great show!
c-prime writes:

@ playergamer23: Could not have said that better myself. That show is an absolute blessing among NBC's predominantly stagnant Thursday night lineup.

Here's hoping that "Dexter" and "Breaking Bad" excel in their respective categories. The ones in which those two are up against each another will be pretty hard for the voters to decide, I imagine.
Blink_pimp_182 writes:

This has got to be Dexters year. Michael C. Hall and John lithgow were amazing. They were the best hands down of any actor in any category. Dexters fourth season was epic
Barney Stinson writes:

I'll be really surprised if Jim Parsons wins. The f*ckheads at the Emmys have a huge hard on for Alec Baldwin.

Kiefer not getting nominated is f*cked up. Best actor in a Drama is a really tough category. I want either Matthew Fox or Michael C. Hall to win.
Barney Stinson writes:

Oh and f*ck Glee.

velocityknown writes:

Who will win:

Outstanding Drama Series: LOST. Voter nostalgia combined with critical acclaim carries it to the top.

Outstanding Comedy Series: Modern Family. More of a comedy than Glee with just as strong ratings and more critical acclaim. Did I mention it's pretty damn funny?

Outstanding Actor in a Drama: Michael C. Hall. Some like Cranston for Breaking Bad, but Hall won the Globe and the SAG awards in the same category this year, combine that with a great 4th season of Dexter and emotional support for his recent battle with Hodgkins and Hall takes home his well deserved first Emmy.

Outstanding Actress in a Drama: Julianne Margulies. Weak weak weak weak category and she takes it because Emmy voters like her and the show draws high ratings.

Outstanding Actor in a Comedy: Jim Parsons. Voters will not support Alec Baldwin as much after these past couple of wins with the less than stellar season of 30 Rock. Plus Jim Parsons carries his show, this is the year Jack Donaghy is dethroned.

Outstanding Actress in a Comedy: Edie Falco. Though it should be Amy Pohler or Tina Fey, Falco is going to take it home because she carries Nurse Jackie and like Margulies, the Emmy voters love them some Falco (see The Sopranos for proof).

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama: Aaron Paul. With Breaking Bad getting shut out in Series and Lead Actor categories, this will be the consolation award, but a well deserved one. It's worth noting this is the deepest category of them all and former winners Terry O'Quinn or Michael Emerson could just as easily take it to give Lost a big night.

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama: Christian Hendricks. No Emmy ceremony would be complete without a little Made Men love and this year it goes to the 'Mad' woman instead of Hamm or the series. Don't worry though, I have my suspicions that Jon Hamm gets his Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy series.

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy: Neil Patrick Harris. Others are more deserving (most noticeably Ty Burrell) but the Emmy voters are notorious for awarding actors and series a year or two late for their work. Sorry about Cryer last year! The voters will say as NPH accepts his award.

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy: Jane Lynch. The voters will figure out at least one way to show Glee some love. This is the most acceptable this year, because who doesn't like Jane Lynch?

Thoughts?

charlie hunnam and katie segal both should have been nominated in the "drama series" categorys for "Sons Of Anarchy", also "Sons Of Anarchy" should have been nominated for outsanding drama.

and also what about Psych, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, White Colar, its almost like they only nominated BIG name networks like fox, nbc, cbs.

and what the f*ck "the ricky garvis show"? thats not an ANIMATED show!!! little animated clips dont and shouldnt count
