Producer Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Alien) and director Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland) have teamed up with YouTube to create what is being described as "the first user-generated feature-length documentary."
Titled "Life in a Day," the new movie will incorporate footage shot on July 24th that is submitted by YouTube users from around the world, who will have 24 hours to capture a glimpse of their life on camera. Macdonald will direct, compiling the best footage into the final film.
Individuals whose footage make it into the finished film will be credited as co-directors, and 20 of them will be flown to the 2011 Sundance Film Festival for the movie's premiere.
Macdonald said: "'Life in a Day' is a time capsule that will tell future generations what it was like to be alive on the 24th of July, 2010. It is a unique experiment in social filmmaking, and what better way to gather a limitless array of footage than to engage the world's online community."
He could go by Jeffrey Jones' house and gather all those ' sex-boy ' tapes ... hours on end ' auditioning ' boys to be Ferris Beuller to his strict discipline ... that is if the Hollywood Police Department hasn't already confiscated them during his second arrest for not reporting in.
There's a scene where Banksy asks this film-maker in Exit out the Gift Shop to create a doc*mentary of street graffiti artist that he has tagged behind hours with ... and Banksy has this WHAT THE f*ck ? reaction to it, because it is a loud, confusion, cataclysmic piece of sh*t ....

This one will for sure be one I wont go to see
I will bet the winners of this crap will be some anti American crap overseas portraying Americans as barbarian, rich, greedy, and whatever else some dope will come up with
Then we will be subjected to hearing the rhetoric of George Clooney, Alec Baldwin, and the list goes on of how Americans should be more Green while they fly across the world 3 times a month to vacation or make a suck movie and pollute more from jet fumes in a months time than 70 years of driving our cars.
