"Devil" Disassociates Itself from M. Night Shyamalan

"Devil" Disassociates Itself from M. Night ShyamalanSubmit Comment
Director M Night Shyamalan recently create The Night Chronicles production company, which will develop movies based on stories by Shyamalan. The first project was called "The Night Chronicles: Devil," until now.

After great success early in his career with "The Sixth Sense," "Unbreakable" and "Signs," the director ended up with several flops like "Lady in the Water" and "The Happening." And while his "The Last Airbender" movie is doing well, it has become of the lowest-rated films of the years.

As a result, Universal Pictures no longer has confidence in Shyamalan's name, which is why the studio has changed "The Night Chronicles: Devil" to simply "Devil."

In the new movie, a group of people trapped in a elevator realize that the devil is among them. It is directed by Drew and John Erick Dowdle (Quarantine) and is scheduled to hit theaters on September 17th.

Shyamalan should really write a very original and successful movie like "Sixth Sense" and turn back to his origins, or his last bad move will kill the name "Shyamalan".

Do Muslims even believe the devil? Or do they just think of the devil as Americans?

He's a great writer, and he's really not that terrible a filmmaker, but every-goddam-thing the man does is flat out boring. The Last Airbender scriptis packed full of action and amazing digital fx. The story from the cartoon is adapted well, so why did I want to sleep all the way through The Last Airbender. Only Shamalyan could take a fun kid's story and turn it into depressive atmospheric sludge.

They should let him direct the next Twilight movie. It'll be a win win for ya'll.
Either he'd ressurect his career with a successful movie or he'll kill the Twilight franchise.

Yet another tragic tale of squandered opportunity. I guess the ironic twist to his life will be when he has to get a job as a handy man for an apartment complex and the woman he finds in the pool is just some junkie that overdosed.

Even the Devil thinks M Night Shyamalan sucks more c*ck than the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Music Director.

omg the last airbender was an adaptation of the cartoon show
honestly people, if you woke up 100 years later to find your loved ones dead would you be happy
i sure as hell wouldn't
i loved the show but i like the movie
he just needs to develop the characters more and fix the dialogue
the effects were cool (in 2D)
give the guy a break yeah hes made terrible movies and great movies
but i want to see how the next airbender movie is goin to turn out
i have faith in him

His cameo in Entourage is paving its way out into reality. A script he forces Ari Gold to read. (By Ari Gold, Entourage & WP's . Either one) Desperation may succ*mb to him soon, and from what @Bunny X stated. Directing Twilight may be his last resort in staying alive in this industry.
Have a pleasant Night, Shyamalan.

Box Office Mojo also reports that "James Cameron Presents Sanctum (3D)" has been renamed to drop any reference to James Cameron. It's now simply "Sanctum (3D)." Has Universal then also lost confidence in James Cameron? Is "Sanctum" trying to disassociate itself from James Cameron?
