A brand new trailer for the upcoming "Dinner for Schmucks" comedy, starring Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and Zach Galifianakis, has been released online. Check it out below.

Plot: "Dinner for Schmucks" tells the story of Tim (Rudd), a guy on the verge of having it all. The only thing standing between him and total career success is finding the perfect guest to bring to his boss' annual Dinner for Extraordinary People, an event where the winner of the evening brings the most eccentric character as his guest. Enter Barry (Carell), a guy with a passion for dressing mice up in tiny outfits to recreate great works of art.

The new movie is directed by Jay Roach (Meet the Parents, Austin Powers) and is scheduled to hit theaters on July 23rd.

It might good for a laugh. The casting is solid, but they seemed to have leaved the originals subtlety at home.

That looks so retarded, I'm going to love it.

I love this cast,

but both trailers have been painfully unfunny, not sure this is gonna work.

Doing it. Totally doing it.

If only they re-titled this movie from Dinner for Schmucks to either Our Audience are Schumcks or Dinner for f*cks, then it would be a homerun.

Taxidermy - The first sign of a serial rapist. He should've followed it up by brutally raping the other party guests, sodomizing them to the point of anal fissures, then brutually decapitates them and use their skins to make a tent he would live inside, while gnawing on their muscle and using their bones as knives and spears.

Then this would amuse us.

Another american remake fail.

Love the cast. Love the movies the director has done so I'll definitely be seeing this.

Look with just a little editing and changing of a couple of words I increase the hilarity of this movie by at least tenfold:

"Enter Barry (Carell), a guy with a passion for dressing mice up in tiny outfits, AND THEN HE STICKS THEM UP HIS ASS...

@vivier
Wouldn't call it a fail right away, the original "Le dīner de cons" will always be better than this, no doubt, but calling it a fail now is a bit soon, I mean you've got to admit that the cast looks pretty great.

encore - LOL he's head of the table ..

Holy sh*t, is that the remake of "Le dīner de cons" ? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119038/

That's freaking painful to watch. You can't butcher french classics like that.

@thysmn
You're both wrong and right ^^
This movie isn't really a remake of "Le dīner de cons", it's just based on the original movie. You're right about the original French movie being a classic though.
