Jean-Claude Van Damme is a Master Croc in "Kung Fu Panda 2"Submit Comment
DreamWorks Animation has confirmed that Jean-Claude Van Damme, Gary Oldman, Victor Garber and Michelle Yeah have joined the voice cast of "Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom," which already includes Jack Black, Angelina Jlie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen and Lucy Liu.

"In the sequel, Po goes on an amazing personal journey and we are thrilled to have assembled such a talented and well-respected group of actors to bring to life our new characters, who alongside our returning cast play such a critical role in Po's quest and his ultimate triumph over the forces of evil," said Melissa Cobb, producer of both Kung Fu Panda and its sequel.

Oldman voices the character of Lord Shen (a peacock), the film's formidable new villain while Yeoh brings to life the mystical character of The Soothsayer (a goat). Van Damme and Garber round out the cast as Master Croc and Master Thundering Rhino, respectively.

The new film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 27th, 2011 (Memorial Day weekend).

why didn't you retire after 'hard target'?

he looks like he's eating d*ck in the pic.

@encoreyyourface

I believe thats Stallones d*ck. It must be a photo from his Expendables audition.

^That's why he's not in The Expendables, because that's not the right way to handle a d*ck. Too much teeth.

First, I know that picture is from Hard Target, but it looks like Jean Claude is going ass to mouth with that snake ...

Secondly, who wouldn't want to be a fly on the wall as Jean Claude tells his manager, " Noooo. I waant to pass up Theee Expeeendablles, but I'll sign onnn to three more Universal Soldiers ... yeah, and theeee Kung Fu Paaaanda sequel .... "

^I just wonder if he got hit on the head too hard or if there was too much cocaine he had mixed in with his daily "roid" dosage. I used to love Van Damme, but anymore I cant stand anything he does. That last universal soldier wtf, and he plans on competing in kickbxoing again?? I'll fight for him 20,000 grand, his legs are so old and brittle they'll snap like a wish bone when I leg kick him. I loved Van Damme till he hit is straight to dvd days, he's had a couple of decent ones but the others I'd rather use a toliet paper.

cc- I liked his early stuff but , Knock off was the last film of his i've watched that and Double Team were really bad !!

Only if he had stuck it out as The Predator , he bitched his way out of that role too...
CCBlev writes:

@trailer
Agreed. Double Team was bad,Rodman was horrendous in it, but for some reason I really liked it, so bad it's good type of film for me I guess. I've been kickboxing 17 years, 5 of them as Pro and I really do give him all the credit for inspiring me to do so.
koul writes:

the only good movies he had so far is Kickboxer and Bloodsport. all his other films suck so much
koul writes:

he should've been in the expendables so he can be in a better movie
trailertrash writes:
on May 26th, 2010 at 10:43:26 AM

@cc- Just checked that movie out again and it had Mickey Rourke and paul Freeman (raiders of the lost ark) in it, i dont remember them being in that film...

Rodman is crazy he did celb big brother here and he was full of himself !!! But he did bump ugly's with Madonna (when she looked ok) and Carmen Electra so a little respect there for him !! lol
CCBlev writes:

trailer-he is batsh*t crazy, wonder how many drugs he was one, but 95-98 when he was a with the bulls, was defiantly the best years of his life.

Yeah... why be in The Expendables when Kung-Fu Panda 2 was coming right around the corner.

Smooth Jean-Claude... smooth!

Dipsh*t!

'Angelina Jlie'

You do check these articles, right?

Van Damme is the BEST ACTOR in the world. He should've won at least 4 Oscars

Jean-Claude?

Is that you?!
GIST writes:

Ahaha! Awesome!
I do one of the best JCVD impersonations. f*ckin' "You can take funcy clowdes and your Block Seelk Onderwere, and go back to DishneyLond."
MyCircusLife writes:

His best role is still the one that he had no speaking lines for...No Retreat, No Surrender

That's right, old school 80's kung fu
lawman writes:
on May 26th, 2010 at 4:44:34 PM

I dont think my opinion counts for sh*t but I honestly have to say, JCVD's acting is getting better. He was in a movie called HELL, it was a decent movie. His acting was pretty good. He also did some straight to DVD thing where he was fighting the Chinese mob and they killed his wife. He was pretty good in that too. I dont know. Maybe Im f*cking crazy. I just think that he f*cked himself over and now, no one wants to see that hes a better actor but not so marketable anymore.
encoreyourface writes:
on May 26th, 2010 at 6:54:49 PM

i never really thought his acting was that bad ...
trailertrash writes:
on May 26th, 2010 at 7:35:31 PM

Andrassy - I can only think of 3

1: street fighter
2: Universal Soldier: The Return
3: Monaco Forever (as the gay Karate man)

What was the 4th ?????
masht7 writes:

@Ranger

He's not Jean-Claude, he's Michael Bay. He is just affraid to cast him in any of his films.
Ranger writes:
on May 27th, 2010 at 4:19:12 AM

@Mash - lol.

@Lawman - if JC is getting better at acting... good for him. Like you say though, it may be a bit late in the game. Farrah Fawcett did this with The Burning Bed - gave it her all, as no one was taking her seriously after Charlie's Angels.

Pretty sure JC (and many others) will show up in The Expendables sequels though.
