Rob Zombie Working on "The Devil's Rejects" Sequel?

Posted: May 24th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Rob Zombie Working on "The DevilSubmit Comment
Rob Zombie has been on tour for the past several months, but he is also planning numerous movie projects. On his official blog, Zombie put up a poll asking fans to vote on which film he should work on next. The choices are "Werewolf Women of the SS," "The Blob," "Tyrannosaurus Rex," and "The Devil's Rejects 2."

This doesn't mean that Zombie is actually working on a sequel to "The Devil's Rejects," but he's obviously thinking about it. If he ends up listening to fans, the second installment will be his next since the movie has the most votes.

"The Devil's Rejects" was released back in 2005 and grossed $19 million in worldwide ticket sales. The film cost $7 million to make.

The second installment? "The Devil's Rejects" was the second installment. This would be the third movie in the series.

It would be kinda cool if Zombie made different types of horror movies that always starred Sid, Bill and Sherri. Kinda like "Tales from the Crypt" but instead of hosted by a constant character, they could star the same characters. They could die in one and show up fine with no explanation in the next.

RZ got a little too carried away with Holloween 2, but otherwise his films are great! I'd rather not see a devil's rejects follow-up, cuz the end was awesome and love'em or hate'em you connected with the fireflys. I'd like to see t-Rex.

Werewolf women with Nick Cage would if been sick!

so the Epic "Free Bird" ending to Devil Reject didn't happen if they make a sequel? Come on Zombie don't sh*t on that ending it was amazing... I say he does the blob... i watched the 80s Blob movie starving Kevin Dillon around Halloween and couldn't stop laughing!

Yeah, didn't they get shot to sh*t in the end?

I mean, the movie was okay....BUT. A WORLDWIDE gross of only 19 million doesn't mean a sequel is exactly desired by anything resembling a fan base. Plus, all of the anti-heroes in Rejects were killed at the end. To sequelize, you'd need to go totally supernatural, which I guess could work. After all, Zombie brought back his version of Michael Myers despite the FACT that Myers' brains were all over Laurie's face at the end of the remake (or at least the version I saw).

But I'd rather he do the WW of the S.S., frankly. Cuz Nic Cage is kind of awesome again. And because the T. Rex movie sounds boring, I've already said my piece on Rejects sequel, and The Blob has already been remade quite spectacularly in 1988 by Chuck Russell and Frank Darabont. Leave it alone.

As long as he doesn't make Halloween III : The Hobo Returns ...

I say do what ya want, Rob.

but they all died in the end unless prequel and halloween 2 sucked and rob said he doesnt like to do sequels

He should make a movie about a killer who just doesn't wanna stop no matter how bad he kills things(ie a movie franchise) it can be titled after the main character called "Rob Zombie"

love his music but his films look like sh*t.

dont do a Devils Reject sequel, it ended fine with Freebird, ya can't top that Zombie so just leave it, do the Blob instead, it's something thats too easy to f*ck up

Yes the ending was great in the The Devils Rejects but, really, who f*cking cares? I would gladly trade in that ending for another two hours watching those 3 f*ck people up! Do it Rob!!!
