Bill Condon Confirmed to Direct "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn"Submit Comment
Summit Entertainment has confirmed that Oscar-winning director Bill Condon (Dreamgirls, Kinsey, Gods and Monsters) will helm "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn," based on the fourth novel in Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series. The new installment is currently being written by Melissa Rosenberg, and will star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

"Bringing Stephenie Meyer's 'Breaking Dawn' to the screen requires a graceful and intelligent hand and we believe Bill Condon is exactly the right steward, having shown equal and abundant talents of immense creativity and subtle sensitivity," said Summit Entertainment's Erik Feig.

"I'm so thrilled that Bill wants to work with us. I think he's going to be a great fit, and I'm excited to see what he does with the material," said Meyer.

I'm very excited to get the chance to bring the climax of this saga to life on-screen. As fans of the series know, this is a one-of-a-kind book - and we're hoping to create an equally unique cinematic experience," said Condon.

That's too close to Bill Condom.

So ... Twatlight is finally going to have Lindsey Lohan ? She would even need any makeup to be a vampire on screen. Although, it might be hard to catch her image on screen, since she might not cast a reflection ...

He directed Dreamgirls ? Eddie Murphy might wanna contact him and see if he can get a cameo from Vampire in Brooklyn in there ... it might be the only time he wins an Oscar.

why the twilight series is not great.

1. who the heck falls in love with a vampire?
2. storyline is crappy
3. vampires that sparkle in the sun
4. so ridiculous
5. not bloody and good as the other vampire films

Why do we even waste our time writing about this gay franchise? There's 6 seconds I'll never get back

@max- unless he does Norbit 2 his Oscar is in the bag.

On subject- I am very suprised at how these films have managed to not only be popular but also get Directors that have a good resume.
But no matter what Director they get for this Gay Love Fest Saga I will never watch them.

Bwahaha! The gaywolf falls in love with a vampire/human hybride fetus because they have a psychic connection. That is not a storyline that craves for intelligence, just a sh*tload of drugs.
