Leonardo Da Vinci is an Action Hero in New Movie

Leonardo Da Vinci is an Action Hero in New MovieSubmit Comment
Marc Guggenheim (Green Lantern, "FlashForward") has been hired to write the script for "Leonardo Da Vinci and the Soldiers of Forever," a Warner Bros project that sees the original Renaissance man as an action hero.

"Da Vinci," based on an original idea and treatment from producer Adrian Askarieh, re-imagines Da Vinci as a member of a secret society who falls headlong into a supernatural adventure that pits the man against Biblical demons in a story involving secret codes, lost civilizations, hidden fortresses and fallen angels.

Warners has also signed Guggenheim to write "Thieves of Baghdad," which Warners says is "Ocean's Eleven" meets "Arabian Nights." The new movie sees Sinbad, Ali Baba and all the other scoundrels from the classic Arabic folk tales team up to pull off the biggest heist of their criminal careers.

Wait, I thought Alex already covered this. I heard about this a while ago, closer to the beginning of the year I think. Am I going crazy or is Alex?

In other news, could be cool? Kinda don't give a sh*t unless Bill Nighy plays him.

Or David Tennant, if they go for a younger Da Vinch.

So somebody apparently was high on a mixture of coke and meth while watching League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen and National Treasure and fell asleep on his hard cover copy of The DaVinci Code?

Alright all they need is Michael Cera or Robert Pattison so this film can officially be gay

This is so f*cking stupid. It reminds me of those retarded movies from the 60's where some famous person ends up doing some stupid sh*t. Like "Santa conquer the Marsians" or something similar.

"Thieves of Baghdad"? Sounds like a doc*mentary...

@Scrooge: Yeah, it was an article about this, but it only said this was a rumor. Now they have a confirmed writer.

Ugh... Now kids are going to watch this and think DaVinci was this Zorro/Indiana Jones/James Bond bullsh*t... This is ridiculous. Why not hire Vin Diesel or even Arnold to play the f*cking role?!

First, Tyler Perry wants to make a Rear Window remake and now THIS piece of sh*t! Intelligence is being skullf*cked and raped by Hollywood.

Unless this turns out to be a clever comedy. Then it might work. Just like Pride and Prejudice and Zombies for example.
