There have been rumors that Seth Rogen's 3D "The Green Hornet" movie is terrible and the film will likely be delayed in order to fix all the problems with it. Sony has been denying everything, claiming that he movie turned out better than expected.

Now comes word from the studio that "The Green Hornet" has been moved back from the prime holiday slot of December 22nd to January 14th, 2011, one of the worst months for movies. As usual, Sony is stating that the quality of the film had nothing to do with the decision.

"We've had a lot of success with the Martin Luther King frame, including 'Paul Blart,'" said the studio's marketing and distribution executive Jeff Blake. "We couldn't be more excited about 'Green Hornet.' In fact, we're doubling down by making it 3D."

It's ok. I don't know of much people so anxious to see this anyway

Right....I really want to believe this crap.
Just like I really want to believe Eddy Murphy is still funny.

Who's with me?

It could be good....but still not the same with out Bruce Lee.

If you're trying to promote your film, why mention it in connection to Paul Blart? Why?

I had hopes for this, but sadly, it will probably suck.

You know, at this point, I don't f*cking care.

This was a bad idea from the start; noone took it very seriously and quite frankly, not even Christopher Waltz could salvage this piece of sh*t. It's the bank fianancial meltdown, metaphorically speaking, of the last few months.

Let it die a slow, painful death in January. It'll be the comic book/action hero version of an Ingmar Bergman film ...

Who the f*ck knew Amtrak directed movies ? I thought they just did derailed trains.

Man, I bet if Seth was producing this delayed piece o' sh*t, he wouldn't be smiling.

They're doubling down ?

Has Hollywood really turned into a bad version of Las Vegas ? If so, I want some of these execs and directors knee-capped in the back with the security guy and the floor manager.

@Freudian.

Take out the word "probably" and your 100% on the money.

Who Cares, It's Bruce Lee's spirit preventing this from happening, even he knows it'll be f*cked up.

I like Sony's blackjack reference "In fact, we're doubling down by making it 3D."
They should be referencing poker and know when to fold em'!!! Come on Sony...you aren't fooling anyone. This movie is going to blow harder than Lindsey Lohan trying to start her ignition-interlocked Hummer.

@makingcirles... lol.

This movie is cursed. Someone commented on Bruce Lee's spirit jinxing this project. I've suspected that for a while.

I guess because GREEN Lantern is going 3D (which it should), they think the same for The GREEN Hornet.

Idiots!

Dre-EL writes:

If the movie was as good as they say they wouldnt need to go 3D to try and make money at higher prices.

Seth Rogen as the hornet? come on you had to know this movie would suck ass.
