Video: Wikus from "District 9" Returns Posted: April 20th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
South African actor Sharlto Copley recently played Wikus van de Merwe in the sci-fi film "District 9." And now he's back in a video for the South African Music Awards (SAMAs), which took place last weekend. Since many of us weren't able to watch the SAMAs, Funny or Die put up Wikus' short for the rest to see. Apparently the character believes he's now a huge star and has traveled to Hollywood to find Charlize Theron to co-present during the awards show. After all, Theron is South African as well. He quickly finds out that tracking down celebrities is no easy task and that there are better ways to get a hold of Theron than just appear in front of her house. Check out the video below.

Die Antwoord. That's all my ignorant ears hear when South Africans speak.

I just love this guy. Too bad D9 can't have a sequel.
He's the only reason I'm seeing that stupid TV movie "The A Team". Well, Neeson too, but Sharlto is the man. Totally.

Great. Borat the Alien is looking to stalk Charlize Theron.

I have just one simple question.
Y the f*ck can't D9 have a sequel?
shayhiri writes: on April 21st, 2010 at 9:52:17 AM
Well, Wikus was a c*ckroach (shrimp) at the end of D9 so we won't be seeing much of Sharlto, right?
Unless he gets transformed back early in the movie.

Did you listen to anything in that movie. They said they would be back in 3 years. So many questions to be answered with the kind of ending that D9 left. Of course there will be a sequel

On top of being back in 3 years, they also have the technology to help him change back into a human. I can see them f*cking with a human being an alien because he was part of the mnu evicting the aliens. There's a sh*t load of things they could do. Next one could even be a war movie

That was hilarious. I wish they'd make a movie out of that.

yeah Shay really the alien said he could cure him watch it again and pay f*cking attention.
