"A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas" Plot RevealedSubmit Comment
NY Magazine got their hands on the script for "A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas," the third installment in the "Harold and Kumar" franchise. Read on for the story.

SPOILERS AHEAD:

Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) are now in their 30s and no longer on speaking terms. Harold is a married, drug-free, Wall Street executive who lives in a beautiful home. Kumar is single, still lives in the same place, and has recently had his medical license suspended for smoking marijuana. The pair are reunited when a package intended for Harold arrives at their old apartment and Kumar delivers it to his house. While there, in a pot-related mishap, Kumar burns down a Christmas tree grown by Harold's father-in-law, requiring the two to go out in search of a replacement.

What follows is lots of penis and weed jokes. In between, there is are waffle-making robots (Wafflebot - this year's hot new toy), a drug-taking infant, and Neil Patrick Harris, who hosts a TV Christmas special with Kelly Ripa.

The script also explains why New Line Cinema has been considering shooting the film in 3D. Apparently, there is a five-page claymation sequence in which Harold and Kumar, high on psychoactive eggnog, are chased through midtown Manhattan by a giant snowman.

I thought the first one was pretty funny. The second one kinda sucked.

These movies are like a fart. Yeah, it was very funny the first time, kinda the funny the second time, but it will not be funny the third time...
Lizardking515 writes:

Agreed with Rush. But that never stops them from making them. As long as there's a demand from the people who don't know what a good movie is(the silly folks that the studios LOVE) then there will always be room for weed and d*ck jokes

Why the f*ck would I want to see this in 3D?
Freudian_Nightmare writes:

The first was so-so, but the second is f*cking awesome. Rob Cordry is the man!

"What's wrong with his eyes? His he handicapped or something?
We believe he's from Korean decent.
My God. North Korea and Al Qaeda working together."

And that claymation sequence sounds awesome as well.

Off topic: Happ Birthday to Ron Perlman. 60 years young.

hope it will be more like the first one and less like the horrible second one...

Defiantly a DVD rental, and thats only to watch Doogies cameo.
Ted Mosby writes:

NPH is the best part of both films... but the first one is far better then the 2nd... but both are worth renting.

Yeah don't waste your money at the theater but I think these are a must see... Whatever means u go about attaining a copy is your own business.

Again, Ricky said it best... WTF 3D?

Love it or hate it... Avatar IS a 3D/IMAX movie. Green Lantern could be fab. in 3D. Harold and Kumar? Give us a break!

Best thing about the 2nd. movie was the: 'c*ck meat sandwich!' (thought that would give VinDandy a tug for his money).

I loved the first one and thought the adventure of finding a White Castle was nice and simple. And also seeing Malin Ackerman's tatties was nice too.

The second one was funny in parts but seemed way too complex of an adventure and had a lot of misses in jokes. Rob Cordry made it worth it for me.

I like the simple idea again about finding a christmas tree. I'm down with it.

I liked the first two. But this one sounds terrible. Kumar got back with his ex in the 2nd one? and neil was killed so there are already mistakes.
Bob82 writes:

@ian_918: Did you stay for the scene after the final credits?
Lowryder writes:
on April 13th, 2010 at 5:41:02 PM

Yea ian, theres a scene after the credits that shows neil getting up, soo yea hes alive..u cant kill the " pune handler!"
TheHundreds writes:

they are both funny if you like movies with titles like "harold and kumar go to white castle" they're not winning any rewards but you get what you expect and more.

@ian, HELL IS NOT HOLY! lol

It would of been better if Harold and Kumar grew Marijuana with a Chrsitmas Tree, now that would be funny.
jigsaw23 writes:

dont 3D it come on the will just focus on 3D elements instead of story

Part One: Fun.
Part Two: Lame.
This one sounds more like the first though, which gives me hope.
