Video: 103 Year Old "Alice in Wonderland" Movie Restored Posted: February 28th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" film is the latest in a long line of adaptations of Lewis Carroll's books. And today, we have a glimpse at the very first, a new color-restored movie that was developed over 100 years ago. The 1907 movie was made just 37 years after Carroll wrote his novel and eight years after the birth of cinema. It was restored by the BFI National Archive from severely damaged materials. With a running time of just 12 minutes (8 of which survive), "Alice in Wonderland" was the longest film produced (800 ft) in England at that time. The movie also contains some of the first special effects.

I just checked IMDB to see if it mentioned Van Halen playing Alice.

See, sh*t like this makes me question how people can say that film isn't a real artistic medium, it's over 100 years old!

They should run this at the end of Tim Burton's movie (after the credits) for all to see if they wanted to stick around.
Gary Coleman is a loser.

Kind of cool to see this, nice to compare how far cinema has come over the years.

Did they intentionally cut out the molestation/rape scene?
And maybe Alice's size doesn't change as much as it's the size of the room she's in... that dumb bitch!
Clearly: the White Rabbit represents a pedophile, luring the Alice 'down his hole.'
He then sells her to the Cheshire Cat (pimp) that rents her out to the Mad Hatter's 'party' (which is in her mouth... and everyone is c*mming).
She offends the Queen by not engaging in some double-ended dildo post party fun.
Bet she's wishing she took the Blue Pill!

The chesire cat seemed so realistic! I'd like to see Tim Burton match the realism there.

Kinda reminds me a bit of that video from the ring!
I love vintage films, i still can't believe it's over 100 years old though!
Stop-motion shrinking?! Love it!

Anyone seen Jan Skankmajer's (probably spelt it wrong) version?
It's so f*cked up! Gave me some proper wierd dreams!
All in stop motion animation, he used a Taxi-dermi rabbit as the white rabbit! Freaky sh*t.

Kind of like COC be molested by his father I'll bet.
