Roger Corman Talks "Sharktopus" and "Dinoshark"Submit Comment
It was recently announced that Syfy and Roger Corman are hard at work a "Sharktopus" movie, which will be about a monster that's half-shark and half-octopus.

Now THR is reporting that the network is re-teaming with Corman for "Dinoshark," about a creature that apparently has the body of a shark and the head of a T-rex (pictured). It is set to debut on Syfy on March 13th.

"Global warming causes the glaciers to break apart," Corman explained. "We start the picture with real beautiful shots of the glaciers falling into the ocean. The unborn egg of the Dinoshark that has been frozen for millions of years is released."

And regarding "Sharktapus," Corman said that the story will have to explain how such a creature came to be since it has never really existed. The solution? The US Navy has commissioned a group called Blue Water to genetically engineer a half-shark, half-octopus to help combat Somali pirate ships. Then things go wrong.

"It's fairly difficult to believe, but we only ask the audience to accept this one thing," he said. "After that, we take great care that everything else is logical from then on and is something that could happen."

Sharktopus was meant to battle Somali pirates?
So the US navy with its vast arsenal is not able to defeat a bunch of pirates armed with AK47's?

..... and that's where i reach for pistol.

DinoShark now? are they f*cking kidding me? Sharktopus was retarded enough, but this is making me go ape sh*t.

Sharktopus sounds amazing! How is that any less believable than Avatar?

When movies like these are made... I'll watch them.

Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus... genius!

At least when they make bad movies and they intend for them to be bad... they're worth watching. It the bad movies that started with the intent to be good, and failed that suck!

Nothing beats a great Jap. Godzilla flick (guy in rubber suit, balsa villages to be crushed, etc.).

One day...

They should put all these sh*t movies into a grand DVD boxset!

With Coleman and Loslag making out or in the 69er on the box (as it were).

I'd buy it! It would be like Mystery Science Theater 3000 all over again... with the HIV!

"i'd buy that for a dollar"!

What did Lohan's vag. say to Coleman's d*ck?

"Dead or alive... you're c*mming with me!"
