Steven Spielberg to Produce a Dinosaur Drama

Steven Spielberg to Produce a Dinosaur DramaSubmit Comment
20th Century Fox Television is in talks with Steven Spielberg for a drama series called "Terra Nove," that will put Spielberg back to work with dinosaurs after the "Jurassic Park" films.

"Terra Nova" is described as following a family from 100 years in the future who travel back in time 150 million years to the strange and inhospitable environs of prehistoric Earth.

The project will involve elaborate sets and visual effects. As a result, Fox has been considering greenlighting the series directly to series production rather than a pilot, because it would be too expensive to shut down and start up again during the downtime between pilot and actual episodes.

Why would parents bring their children to a dinosaur-era?

"Go and play now, Timmy. But if you see anything moving, run, cause it'll probably kill you"

That's some good parenting.

So it's Land of the Lost?

GAY

@ Freudian:

Sounds more or less like COC's childhood.

Canceled within 13 episodes. Remember Firefly.

Canceled within 13 episodes. Remember Firefly. Fox never has faith no matter how promising something is.

@PP: Yeah, but instead of dinosaurs it was trafic.

'...that will put Spielberg back to work with dinosaurs after the "Jurassic Park" films.'

Why... have the dinosaurs been bitching lately about their lack of work?

And why bother setting a family 100 measly years in the future just to go back 150 million years... John Connor's f*cking time displacement equipment?!?!

This idea sucks more COC than COC's mother (did... before she became a rotting corpse).
Peter Parker writes:

@ Freudian:

Don't break it to him!
COC's mother usually tells him they're the lovely Metalosauruses and he can play with them...

Dear Mr. Spielberg,

Instead of doing this dinosaur drama, why don't you do something good?

Yours truly,

COMMON f*ckING SENSE!!!!

Feel like this has been done plenty of times. Wonder if he'll take the avatar route and have a dinosaur sex scene. Is cocs mom available for filming?

@PP: So when he humps the cars, is that considered beastiality because he thinks they are animals or is it some other fetisch?

@Johnny: No, she died while giving BJ's to walrusses.

And until Speilberg apologizes for IJ and The Crystal Skull, he ain't worth sh*t (still more than COC Shayhiri though)

Well it just sounds like Jurrasic park but with different means of living with dinos.

Oh and Terra Nova is an outdoor shop lol.

Freudian why? It still wasnt as bad as Young Indy or Temple of Doom.
ifakos writes:

Who the hell is COC?
Freudian_Nightmare writes:
on February 17th, 2010 at 10:03:38 AM

@billofill: Are you kidding me? IJ and The Crystal Skull wasn't only a buttrape on everything that's holy, it was bad too. Temple of Doom, even though it's weakest entry in the trilogy (yeah, I said trilogy) it's still highly entertaining. I don't know much about Young Indy, only saw a couple of episodes when I was little and they weren't all bad. It was either that or Hercules.

Crystal Skull featured surviving a nuclear blast in a refrigerator, Shia swinging it Tarzan-style, no nazis but a horrible Cate Blanchett and aliens. And the fact that Speilberg and Ford said that they wouldn't make another IJ until they had a great script. What kind of scripts did they decline???

Hurting for cash SS? Horrible horrible idea.

And yeah this is so Land Of The Lost, and yes, this is gay.
@dark, Fox has a way of tossing the good and leaving on the bad. So I'll give it 2 full seasons before they can't avoid the 500 lb gorilla in the room. (you know the same one Dandy takes it in the mouth from) lol I do love random poster bashing!!!
