"Tron Legacy" Trailer Next Wednesday?

"Tron Legacy" Trailer Next Wednesday?Submit Comment
A ComingSoon user recently received a mysterious package from Flynn Lives, clearly the result of Walt Disney Pictures' "Tron Legacy" marketing campaign. The box contained a star and had "/zerohour" written inside. When you go to flynnlives.com/zerohour, you will see a bunch of shapes.

Taking a closer look, it's clear that the shapes change every second and that there are only two types of them. That means that this is some sort of a clock or countdown and the shapes represent zeros and ones (binary).

Taking each vertical row and assuming that a star is zero and a diamond is one, you get a bunch of numbers that represent days, hours, minutes and seconds. The numbers are getting smaller which indicates that it's a countdown, and there are about eight days left before "Zero Hour."

What happens when all the numbers turn zero (on February 24th, 11am EST) we have no idea, but it usually means a trailer. Stay tuned.

Recently saw the first one. Thought Jeff Bridges were supposed to get stuck in there, but he got out. Why is he back in the computer?

Blau! Daft Punk's old manager gave me a sneak leak of the score they are producing for TRON. Un-f*ckin'-real!

as a fan born after the original "tron", this looks f*cking sweet.

@gist: dude, i can't even imagine the awesome-ness that daft punk is doing for this movie. there are going to be some sick remixes.

ill take a shot in the dark and say that jeff bridges in the "tron" world is a saved version of himself in the game that takes over.

@autiger10

Justice, Mr. Oizo, Laidback Luke, Boys Noize are just a few artists on the roster of remixes done for the original score.
It will be one of the best soundtracks of this year.
And most likely, the most overplayed as well. You'll probably be hearing a few of their tracks or remixes everywhere from a club, bar, to car radio.

Hookers will be giving blowjobs on-beat.

Fianlly, a new movie trailer from the new Tron: Legacy movie! It's about time that that Disney decides to release another movie trailer for Tron: Legacy. I hope that when it gets released, it wont take a very long time for it to be put on Apple Movie Trailers and Yahoo Movie Trailers, because those two websites are the ones that do have the best video quality for movie trailers on the internet!

Just be aware that there are a few fakes out there.

But I got the chance to hear 1-minute snippets of each track. Amazing! It sounds similar to their friend Kavinsky's music (myspace.com/kavinsky), who opened for Daft Punk's Alive Tour. 80's montage Countach music.

The first movie was sick. Awesome idea getting sucked in a computer and have fight your way to get out. The teaser looked amazing, and now the actual trailer is coming out, can't wait to see how badass it looks.
barley_cat writes:

The thing about the original Tron was that it wowed the audience, computer technology was still new and exciting back then, and this was a completely original idea that noone had thought of.

This film may get hits from all the Tron fans, but it certainly won't do what the first did and amaze people.

Hell, bring it on though, with CGI these days, it's got the potential to be good to the eye atleast.
