After much talk, Robin Williams has rejected the idea of a sequel to "Mrs. Doubtfire." While the reason behind his decision is unclear, it is reported that Williams did say something along the lines of "if it's not done right, it's not worth doing," which leads to an assumption that he presumably was dissatisfied with the project's script written by actress Bonnie Hunt.
The original film is difficult to ignore, as it brought in $220 million in the US, and the same amount outside of US, for a total of $440 million worldwide. The comedy revolved around an actor, who after a bitter divorce, disguises himself as a female housekeeper to spend secret time with his children held in custody by his ex-wife.
Williams, known for his voice and impression abilities, has been very busy this year, releasing "R.V.," "The Night Listener," "Man of the Year," and the animated smash hit "Happy Feet." You can catch him next, in the Ben Stiller comedy "Night at the Museum," which is slated to hit theaters on December 22nd.
