Ivan Reitman Will Direct "Ghostbusters 3"Posted: January 13th, 2010 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
MTV News caught up with "Ghostbusters" director Ivan Reitman, who revealed that Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (Year One, "The Office") have already turned in a draft for the third "Ghostbusters" installment.
"They have delivered a draft," he said. "We are working our way through another draft... good work is being done and all of us have our fingers crossed. I hope to start shooting it this next year."
When MTV asked if he will be returning to direct the new movie, Reitman replied: "Yes."
In an interview from about two weeks ago, Harold Ramis said that the plan is to begin filming "Ghostbusters 3" in the summer and then release it in theater in 2011.

Ghostbusters 3 would not be the same without Ivan Reitman. I'm glad he's doing it and lets hope that the movie will be worth it!

As long as it doesnt have a sound track that sounds like the rejected score from Parenthood. You know like the awful score of GB2 i'll be there.

And now with Spider-Man 4 out of the loop for next year, Sony will need a major blockbuster franchise replacement if they want to compete in the summer movies on 2011.

From this news alone thats good to hear. Why dont they use some of the original plot points. Scientists, hard drinkers and smokers, much more darker, and adult comedy. I dont wanna see some kiddy bullsh*t with this one.

Bobby Brown for the soundtrack.
The only thing that could f*ck this up is the casting for the new Ghostbusters.
I would maybe like to see...
Paul Rudd, Mos Def, Rainn Wilson, Bradley Cooper.
Throw some more names in there people, im sure there are some better people i have missed.

do the office people have to write it the show is getting pretty sh*t now and they will ruin GB3 or it might just be they stopped caring about office and put everything into GB3
