"Jaws 19" 3D Short on "Back to the Future" Trilogy Blu-ray Set

Jaws 19 3D Short on Back to the Future Trilogy Blu-ray SetSubmit Comment
"Back to the Future" fans have been waiting for the trilogy to appear on Blu-ray, and now it seems that a five-disc version will hit stores in July.

A sellsheet for the Blu-ray package started floating around the net recently, with the Spanish DVD website ZonaDVD claiming that it is a joke and was posted for the Spanish version of April Fool's Day. But not so.

TheDigitalBits checked with their sources at Universal Pictures and found out that the sellsheet is the real deal, although some of the art work may change. Take a look at it below.

This is great news not only because we can finally watch the "Back to the Future" movies in high-def, but also because of the two bonus material discs and a "Jaws 19" 3D short film, based on the joke from the sequel.

About time. Maybe they'll hurry up and put the original Indiana Jones trilogy out on blu-ray.

Ok, so now The Digital Bits is saying that their source at Universal was wrong and that the sellsheet is fake. The sellsheet is in the same format as a foreign version of the DVD set and since Universal is working on the BluRay release for late 2010, that led to the confusion.

This is why the news was in The Digital Bits's RUMOR MILL section. They've had info since June that the BTTF BDs were being made.
