Elija Wood and Robin Williams to Return for "Happy Feet 2"Submit Comment
Even though director George Miller is currently in pre-production on a new "Mad Max" movie with Tom Hardy in the lead, he is also moving forward with a "Happy Feet" sequel.

According to THR, Elija Wood and Robin Williams are currently in negotiations to reprise their roles as lead voice in "Happy Feet 2," which Miller already wrote the script for and will once again direct.

Wood is reprising Mumble, the penguin who can't sing but can dance. Williams will return as they hyper-acting and wise-cracking penguin Ramon; he also voices Lovelace.

The first "Happy Feet" movie hit theaters back in 2006 and grossed $384 million in worldwide ticket sales on $100 million budget. The sequel is tentatively set to be released in 3D on November 18th, 2011.

Elijah Woods. Robin Williams. Happy Feet. The Three Stooges of forgotten.

I sued to really like Williams though. He had some style, even it was monotonous, grating and annoying, but he made you laugh and he had way about him that made what was bad a little better, at least in his films.

Not really digging the old, creepy, unfunny Williams.

Amazing... the first 3 posts. I thought I was the only one thinking Williams was no longer funny. He's always worked hard... but now he's trying too hard.

As with Ferrell in a dramatic piece like: 'Winter's Passing' - these 'comedians' really shine in dramatic pieces. Williams in: Awakenings, Good Will Hunting and What Dreams May Come (if that's a dramatic piece)... outside of that realm, I like him in Hook. I haven't seen Happy Feet... but from what you're all posting, it would be what I'd expect... a chuckle, cutsie thing at best.

Williams (and Ferrel - Mr. earn the studio $3. for every $1 you get paid SUCKS for the dumb studio paying for your unfunny ass!) - GO TO THE DRAMATIC STUFF as your careers wind down.

Your write ranger when your winding out they should go dramatic:/

I think they should go suicidal, or at least homicidal. That would be more fun for me.

@heywood - their dramatic stuff so outshines (both Ferrell and Williams) their comedic efforts... I really don't know why they don't take that route.

I like Williams, i get that he's a bit of an attention seeker, you see that on any chat show he's on- just takes over the host's job lol. But in a way thats refreshing because there aren't a lot of people in the world that can pull that off in a way that makes the public laugh, hell he makes me wet myself!

Go williams, Love the little penguins he plays!
