M. Night Shyamalan's "Last Airbender" Trailer DelayedPosted: December 4th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

There are a few things that you can expect from director M Night Shyamalan; a twist ending (not so much in the last movie) and a film that will be completed on time and budget.
But apparently things are not moving as expected on "The Last Airbender" movie, since producer Frank Marshall has just revealed on his Twitter account that the official trailer will not appear in theaters on Christmas as previously announced.
"Not enough ILM shots finished, so LAST AIRBENDER trailer will not debut until Feb," he said. Looking at the release calendar, the only film that the trailer could appear in front of is "Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" on February 12th.
"The Last Airbender" is based on the hugely successful Nickelodeon animated TV series. The story follows the adventures of the successor to a long line of Avatars who must put aside his irresponsible ways and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations. The film is scheduled to appear in theaters on July 2nd, 2010.

we call that a teaser...not a trailer. trailer will be longer and show lots of clips from the actual movie as opposed to that one scene...
