Subway scene = silent hill

Big Monster/mini monster aspect = Half Life 2

Metal Gear Solid, Assassin's Creed, or Uncharted. Make those video game movies and the genre will be revived after suck fests like Hitman, Max Payne, and Doom.

On the subject of video game movies. I must say prince of Persia looks pretty good. I never played the game too. Which is another example of not having to be a fan of a game to be intrigued by a film inspired by it. Still think they should have gone through with Halo with Neil bloncamp as director. I think that would have been amazing
