  The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has narrowed down their list of eighty nine films to fifteen that will compete in the Documentary Feature category during the 82nd Academy Awards.
Some of the documentaries that didn't make the list are Mike Tyson's "Tyson," Michael Moore's "Capitalism: A Love Story," "Anvil! The Story of Anvil," "The September Issue," "It Might Get Loud" and "We Live in Public."
The fifteen films are listed below in alphabetical order. They will eventually be narrowed down to five official nominees. The 82nd Academy Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010, at 5:30am PT in the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

to be honest. it's his weakest film (aside from Slacker Uprising wich would automatically be disqualified by the academy because of its' release) so i'm not surprised. he's a talented guy but he failed to deliver another really damn good documentary.

just becasue the acadamy doesn't nominate you doesn't mean you are snubbed. maybe it mean your movie wasn't good enough. Like when all the christians felt like Passion of the Christ was snubbed.
Or when starwars fans thought revenge of the sith was snubbed....
or when twilight fans thought twilight was snubbed....
moore is talented even if i rarely agree with him..... but the academy prolly does agree with him.... so no. i don't think he's been snubbed

Eh, it wasn't Moore's greatest film, but it was still good. I can't believe they left Tyson out of the awards. That one was excellent.
