Til Schweiger and Udo Kier are both good actors, he's ahd fucking Ben Kingsley in a movie for Christ's sake. Ron Perlman, Jason Statham, Michael Madsen, Ray Liotta, Michelle Rodriguez... he must know people that know people that can call in favors or something.

I don't want to make a direct comparison here, but Uwe Boll's continuing career reminds me of Ed Wood. Ed Wood's movies at the time were considered terrible, but he's got a cult following. Uwe Boll obviously has some viewers, perhaps his own cult following.

Wow an Andy Sidaris reference!!! Maybe along with Julie Strain they'll get Buff Bagwell (if he's not dead).... The difference between Sidaris and Boll is the Ed Wood factor. Ed Wood loved movies, and had a desire to make great films, even though they were shit. If you've ever seen an interview with Boll, he comes off as the same way. Sidaris I know nothing about, but I can be relatively certain he's more like the Gene Hackman character in Get Shorty, contnent to just churn out shit for money, not really beliveing he's an artist. Boll at least thinks he's an artist, even if he isn't.
