Mel Gibson Talks "Mad Max 4"

Mel Gibson Talks "Mad Max 4"Submit Comment
Mel Gibson has been too old to play many roles; he was ten years older than the real William Wallace in "Braveheart," lost the chance to play James Bond due to his age, and is now too old to reprise his "Mad Max" role.

"Not with me, I'm a bit old and long in the tooth for that number," said Gibson about starring in the new "Mad Max" movie that director George Miller is working on. "You need somebody who can get around a bit quicker."

Well, Miller has already someone younger in mind, actor Tom Hardy (Bronson, RocknRolla, Inception), who - with Charlize Theron - has already signed on to star.

"I was just talking with George the other day," said Gibson, adding: "I figure if it's great, you'll end up seeing it, you know."

Just as well. Mel would have turned this into a drunken Deathrace movie running over Jews!

Leave Mad Mel alone Ranger, focus your insults on Lohan brother!

Speaking of insults.......where did Minkowski go, i havent read any rantings from him in a while?

Hey... I'm one of the biggest Mel fans around!

He's has broad enough shoulders to carry my comments.

Oh, and Lohan gave Efron that gave an Opossum AIDS apparently!

now if we can somehow get Efron and Lohan in the next twilght movie to infect the cast and crew to kill em all. Suggestions anyone, Ranger?
Ranger writes:

Well... we know Lohan is a cutter. So her blade is already infected. We just have to put the bug into her ear that the cast of Twilight all want to learn how to be cutters too...

The "King of Malibu" doesn't need to be in some piece of sh*t remake of a role he already made famous.

genius Ranger!! We all know Kristen" I'm a lil Emo slut" Stewart will be the first to try it, and since shes getting gangbanged by all the cast and crew, they will follow her into some hiv infected cutting orgy, takes em all out with one shot, genius pure genius!!

Personally you don't need to give stewart AIDS she is a good lil f*ck toy.

Give it patterson, lautner and the bitch who came up with the series though.

Well WP, was it that Mel was too OLD or that he was too SHORT, LIKE YOU REPORTED EARLIER???!!!!

WTF?! That's why it's called movie magic. Come on, they made Connery seem agile in the Rock for drying out loud. Anyhow it would have been cool to see an old Max with Hardy playing one of the kids from Thunder Dome having lived with him etc. Anyhow whatever...

With Tom Hardy buff up like he is in "Bronson" then I can see this working. However, if they can have Harrison Ford's ancient arse running around in Indy 4, I don't see why Mel can't start hitting the gym so that he can be in this movie.

Or will this be a reboot?

is this a reboot starting over or is it picing up were thunder dome left off?
