"Saw 7" 3D Announces Release Date

Posted: November 12th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Saw 7 3D Announces Release DateSubmit Comment
"Saw 6" already made its money back, even though the film current worldwide gross is still less than the opening weekend numbers of "Saw 5." The franchise is clearly losing its audience, but it hasn't stopped Twisted Pictures from pushing forward with a new installment.

Lionsgate has announced that "Saw 7" will appear in theaters on October 22nd, 2010, just in time for Halloween. As with most new horror film, it will be developed for 3D screens.

"Saw 7" is written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, who have provided screenplays for the last three installments. It will bring back "Saw V" director David Hackl to helm.

What the hell, why are they making another one of these? its starting to get ridiculous. Oh..Modern Warfare 2 sold 7 million units on release day.

bringing back the same 3 writers of the last 3 with the last one not doing well is not a smart move.just have james wan write a script to end the films.its hard to keep the movie interesting when u keep adding stuff that happened during the 3rd film, with the title character dead.

Saw 6 may be losing some of its core audience, but the big reason why less people saw this one is because of the enormous success of Paranormal Activity. Even with that, Saw 6 still made over double what it cost to make, so why not make another?

@VDOD: 7 mil for real. Hell, I should know cuz I was one of those 7 mil. Awesome and I mean awesome game by the way. It also comes packaged with PTSD.

Oh, and about Saw 7, what else is left to talk about? They shouldn't have given Jigsaw cancer in the first place. I did like how they touched on the health care industry in #6 and their crooked ass practices. So what I got a pre-existing condition that's y I pay yall for some goddamn coverage. I'd torture they ass too. And y do people make such a big deal about universal coverage? It's to benefit everyone.

What a great choice on the director. Saw 6 was finally a big step out of the whole downspiral, Saw 5 was the absolutely worst part of the franchise.

Why don't they just turn it into a weekly tv show and put out 23 Saw movies a year?
