Screen Gems has acquired the comic caper film "Sheneneh and Wanda" as a starring vehicle for Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence, who will play female characters they developed during their stand up comedy days.
The project originated as a parody of a movie trailer for a film called "Skank Robbers," which Foxx and Lawrence made for the BET Awards. The reaction was strong enough that the duo decided to turn the concept into a real film.
In the comedy, Sheneneh and Wanda are modern day independent women trying to make it on their own, one bank robbery at a time. Foxx will write the script and he and Martin will produce. Screen Gems is fast tracking the production.
@Nope - Also add a sprinkle of that Madea garbage.

Ok...how old are you all exactly? Sheneneh and Wanda ARE original characters fron the early 90's...the film may come out crappy still, but i believe that they were made popular before all the tyler perry stuff, yes i said popular.

Someone took a bad idea and poured hot sauce all over it
Well, I'm glad Jamie Foxx is going back to comedy, man. But even if Wanda was one of the funniest characters around on "In Living Color", it's going to take more than their talents to bring a decade-and-a-half-old character to a successful movie. And Martin Lawrence has seen better days.

1st of all Jamie y the hell would you do a character that you did eons ago? Your an Oscar award winning actor now then u wanna do some dumb sh*t like this. Your credibility as an actor is starting to look pretty dim. Martin please focus on a Bad Boys 3 cuz Sheneneh was funny 15 yrs ago.
