According to THR, Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) has signed on to voice the Humpty Dumpty character in the upcoming "Shrek" spin-off, called "Puss in Boots."
Tom Wheeler is writing the screenplay for the prequel, which will feature the voices of Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek in a story about the events leading up to the feline assassin's first meeting with Shrek and friends in the second film.
Chris Miller, who co-directed and co-wrote "Shrek the Third," wrote an earlier draft of the "Puss" screenplay and is directing the new film which is scheduled to hit theaters on November 4th, 2011.
