Uwe Boll on "Bloodrayne 3" DetailsPosted: November 5th, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
Director Uwe Boll has brought two films, "Storm" and "Darfur," to the American Film Market. Judging by the trailers, they are not Oscar potential, but are definitely a step up from Boll's previous work.
Unfortunately, Boll's previous work is about to resurface since he just confirmed that the third "Bloodrayne" film will go in front of the cameras this January. He told DreadCentral that the new film is called "Bloodrayne 3: Warhammer," that Kristanna Loken will return as the lead, and that the movie will have a Nazi-laden World War II setting.
Boll's first "Bloodrayne" movie hit theaters in 2006 and went on to earn $3 million on a $25 million budget. The sequel went straight to DVD a year later and received terrible reviews. At this point, it is no clear whether Boll is planning to have "Bloodrayne 3" released theatrically.

I love this guy, even though he keeps making turds, he wont quit. He reminds me of Rorshadt, except his agenda is to pump crap movies nonstop, instead of fighting criminals. Even in the face of armageddon Uwe Boll will not stop making shit, hilarious.

The first one was pretty terrible. The second one was fucking un-watchable! It was exactly like one of those horrible Sci-fi channel made for TV movies. Shitty!

3 million earnings on a 25 mil budget? Now that's a fuckin' flop right there! Not enough to kill Carolco like Renny Harlin did (still love Harlin's movies anyway BTW), but it's a pretty big loss. Why does this guy keep doing it? I've never even seen one of his movies. Should I count myself lucky for that?

I never knew there was a part 2.
A shame they cocked this franchise up. It was such a great concept.

This is incredible. We're having one of the worst economies ever, and Uwe Boll is still making movies. We have to be lucky.

You're all forgetting/forgiving House Of The Dead. That was too date the worst butchering of a video game movie, ever. Seriously I prefer Street Fighter, MK2, and Super Mario Brothers to it.

P.S
I never watched 2. Purely because of the lack of Lokens boobs.
