Hi, been using the site for years, but 1st time i've commented. As a white Englishman married to an Asian-Muslim, i strongly disagree to most of the comments on here. My in-laws and most of the community i know are people of high morale standards and welcoming to all people of all faiths and cultures. Dont get me wrong, you always have the bad egg, but thats true of any culture/religion. Muslims dont hate the West/Whites, or any of that bull. They are close knit communities and sometimes that is a drawback in our western open cultures. I'm not a fan of any religion, but if you look into Islam it shares alot of the same morale codes as christianity, and Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. I think this film, if done right, could help. I just have the fear that elements from both sides will ruin it. Or it will get soo much hype, then be a bag of shite. I would welcome any comments, as long as they ar'nt stupid mindless bigotry, un-informed rants of fools or western news/culture brainwashed properganda.
As a side note to any christians out there, when the White European Christian Crusaders took the holy land during the crusades, the slaughtered everyone in Jeruselam, Jew, Muslim and Christian. When Saladin took it about a century later he let everyone leave unharmed, plus he washed the christian churches with rose water. Thats not from watching "kingdom of heaven", im a history student.
