Joss Whedon Wants to Buy "Terminator" RightsPosted: November 2nd, 2009 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
It was just announced that the Halcyon Holding Group company will be auctioning off the rights to the "Terminator" franchise later this month. It is expected to bring in at least $60 million and every major studio has already expressed interest.
But its not only the studios that are getting in on this. Joss Whedon, creator of "Buffy" and "Dollhouse," is ready to take over this franchise as well and he's got $10,000 to do so.
In an open letter to Halcyon Holding Group, Whedon promises that he will write a check today to take the "Terminator" rights of their hands. "No, you didn't miscount. That's four -- FOUR! -- zeroes after that one. That's to show you I mean business," he said.
He goes on to mention some of the ideas he has for the future of the franchise. "Terminator... of the Rings! Yeah, what if he time-traveled TOO far... back to when there was dragons and wizards?"

Funny, but this guy is a fucking idiot. He wrote Alien Resurrection, enough already said, a film that did for plot holes what Scientology does for religious scamming.
I'll admit though, he got Serenity right, but even a fucking broken clock is right at least once a day.

$10K? Ahhh... am I missing something here? There's a consideration in business not to low-ball so badly you actually offend the Seller. WTF is Cyclops doing here?
@Ari - his left eye is smaller because it's being sucked into his head by the vacuum that is his brain.

"Joss Whedons left eye is quite small."
You should see the MRI they took of his brain, then.
