Kiefer Sutherland's "24" series is already in its eighth year, and while there have been some promos for the new season floating around the internet, we now have the official trailer for it.
"24: Season 8" will premiere on Sunday, January 17th as part of a special two-night, four-hour season premiere. What that means is that there will be two-hours of Jack Bauer on Sunday and then two more hours on Monday.

I started to hate 24 cause I got tired of seeing Jack Bauer survive the impossible every second of the show. Now I think its great, you just have to add some humor to it to see it for what it really is. Its like the old school action flicks where the guy kills over two hundred people single handedly without a scratch. Now you just wanna see how Jack is gonna kill the next guy, and how many people he tortures. Best comedy/action show on tv.

VDODSON- Very true. It's not very realistic anymore, but it is extremely entertaining- especially finding the point in the series where Jack has to torture somebody.

Skywalker121289 - When was 24 realistic? It's never been a realistic show. Not even in season 1.
Can't wait for the new season. But I hope it's not the last season like it's been rumored to be. It already sucks that I'm losing Lost next season. Losing Lost AND 24, my two favorite shows (and potentially Supernatural, my 3rd favorite show) will suck! The TV landscape will be far less exciting without both of these shows! :(
