MetalMachine caught up with actor Ernie Hudson at the Big Apple Comic-Con to ask him some questions about the rumored "Ghostbusters 3" film. Hudson not only confirmed the movie, but also revealed the possible release date.
"Ivan [Reitman] said its going to happen and if anybody knows, he does," said Hudson. "I think probably we're going to shoot in the fall, this is what I'm told, and it'll probably come out in May, 2011."
Last we heard, the script is complete, but the actors have yet to see it. Both Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray have expressed interest in returning for the third installment, but are not confident that it will actually happen.

Well said. Why does Ernie Hudson get to be the ambassador of info for this movie? He isn't. He doesn't know what he's talking about. Even if he did talk to Reitman... they haven't even started filming yet. Yeah... maybe we will see this movie in 2012 if we're lucky.
