Sam Raimi Confirms Bruce CampbellSubmit Comment
About a month ago, Bruce Campbell revealed that after having cameos in all three "Spider-Man" films, director Sam Raimi is planning to give him a major role in the upcoming "Spider-Man 4."

Now, MTV News caught up with Raimi and asked if there is any truth to that. "I promised him we would write something because I really love putting him in the pictures," he said. "I promised him a good, meaty role."

When asked what role Raimi has in mind for Campbell, the director replied: "I don't even know what it is yet."

Fans have been speculating that the actor could take on the role of Mysterio - the master of illusions.

I think they got it wrong. What Raimi actually said was:

- "I promised him a good, meaty roll"

That's exactly what he said, Peter.

*SPOILER ALERT*

Campbell returns as Ash in Spider-man 4 and kills Tobey Maguire and bangs Kirsten Dunce only to throw her from a van traveling 90 mph down the interstate once he was done banging her *Insert one-liner here*. This would bring an end to the spider-man series but would continue the Evil Dead franchise.

*End of Spoiler*

Oh f*ck me with this bullsh*t.

He's going to have another small f*cking cameo, just like in THE OTHER 3 f*ckING MOVIES.

I am a huge Spider-Man fan and have been as far back as I can remember. I was very happy to hear that they were no longer making any Spidey films after the joke that was the third one. I thought they couldn't do worse then the second! The Lizard is a good move and Electro would be a great choice for another villian but Carnage??? They messed that option up by killing off Eddie Brock and Venom! Carnage is the one thing that brings Spider-man and Venom together as a team and would make for a great movie. Too bad they can't do that unless they use a bs movie magic move to bring him back to life!

The Black cat... Great choice, like Gwen Stacy, IF and only IF Mary Jane hadn't come into the picture yet!

Mary Jane and Spider-man also need a recast. MJ is supposed to be beautiful and not look like she has cancer. Parker continues to grow up and as an adult, no longer is that frail looking nerd he was in high school. The wise cracks out of Toby's mouth sound forced and really not funny. He's just not a good Spidey anymore.
